For enhanced safety, the front seat shoulder belts of the Bugatti Tourbillon are height-adjustable to accommodate a wide variety of driver and passenger heights. A better fit can prevent injuries and the increased comfort also encourages passengers to buckle up. The McLaren Artura doesn’t offer height-adjustable seat belts.

The Tourbillon has all-wheel drive to maximize traction under poor conditions, especially in ice and snow. The Artura doesn’t offer all-wheel drive.

The Tourbillon has standard GPS Response System, which uses a global positioning satellite (GPS) receiver and a cellular system to send emergency personnel to the scene if any airbags deploy. The Artura doesn’t offer a GPS response system, only a navigation computer with no live response for emergencies, so if you’re involved in an accident and you’re incapacitated help may not come as quickly.

The Tourbillon’s 8.3 DOHC V16 hybrid produces 1084 more horsepower (1775 vs. 691) and 502 lbs.-ft. more torque (1033 vs. 531) than the Artura’s 3.0 turbo V6 hybrid.

The Tourbillon can travel with zero emissions on electricity, only, on a full charge for 37 miles, up to 10% further than the Artura‘s -mile range on a full charge and a full tank of fuel. The Artura has to start its internal combustion engine after only 11 miles.

All wheel drive, available in the Tourbillon, provides the best traction for acceleration in wet, dry, and icy conditions. In corners, all wheel drive allows both outside wheels to provide power, balancing the car. This allows for better handling. The McLaren Artura is not available with all wheel drive.

The Tourbillon has standard air brakes, which adjust the rear spoiler automatically during high-speed braking in order to shorten stopping distances. The Artura doesn’t offer air brakes.

For better traction, the Tourbillon has larger tires than the Artura (F:285/35R20 & R:345/30R21 vs. F:235/35R19 & R:295/35R20).

The Tourbillon’s 345/30R21 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 30 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Artura’s standard 35 series tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Tourbillon has standard 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels. Only 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels are available on the Artura.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the Tourbillon’s wheelbase is 3.9 inches longer than on the Artura (107.8 inches vs. 103.9 inches).

A standard locking glovebox keeps your small valuables safer in the Tourbillon. The Artura doesn’t offer locking storage for small valuables.

To help keep the driver’s hands on the wheel, the Tourbillon has standard steering wheel controls for the radio. The Artura doesn’t offer steering wheel audio controls.
