2027 Ferrari Amalfi2026 Lamborghini Temerario

Safety

The Lamborghini Temerario has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags help prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The Amalfi doesn’t offer knee airbags.

The Temerario has standard tall side airbags, which act as a forgiving barrier between the driver and outboard passenger's upper bodies and the window and pillars. Combined with high-strength steel door beams and lower side airbags this system increases head protection in broadside collisions. The Amalfi doesn't offer side airbag protection for the head.

The Temerario offers optional Autonomous Emergency Brake, which use forward mounted sensors to warn the driver of a possible collision ahead. If the driver doesn’t react and the system determines a collision is imminent, it automatically applies the brakes at full-force in order to reduce the force of the crash or avoid it altogether. The Amalfi doesn't offer collision warning or crash mitigation brakes.

The Temerario has all-wheel drive to maximize traction under poor conditions, especially in ice and snow. The Amalfi doesn’t offer all-wheel drive.

The Temerario offers an optional 360 degree parking monitor to allow the driver to see objects all around the vehicle on a screen. The Amalfi only offers a rear monitor and front and rear parking sensors that beep or flash a light. That doesn’t help with obstacles to the sides.

Both the Temerario and the Amalfi have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, rearview cameras, available blind spot warning systems and rear cross-path warning.

Warranty

The Temerario’s corrosion warranty is 9 years longer than the Amalfi’s (12 vs. 3 years).

Engine

The Temerario’s 4.0 turbo V8 hybrid produces 277 more horsepower (908 vs. 631) and 29 lbs.-ft. more torque (590 vs. 561) than the Amalfi’s 3.9 turbo V8.

Fuel Economy and Range

On the EPA test cycle the Temerario running on electricity gets better mileage than the Amalfi (24 city/24 hwy MPGe vs. 17 city/22 hwy).

The Temerario can travel with zero emissions for 4 miles. The Amalfi can’t move without running its internal combustion engine.

Regenerative brakes improve the Temerario’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The Amalfi doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.

Drivetrain

All-wheel drive, available in the Temerario, provides the best traction for acceleration in wet, dry, and icy conditions. In corners, all-wheel drive allows both outside wheels to provide power, balancing the car. This allows for better handling. The Ferrari Amalfi is not available with all-wheel drive.

Brakes and Stopping

For better stopping power the Temerario’s brake rotors are larger than those on the Amalfi:

Temerario

Amalfi

Front Rotors

16.1 inches

15.4 inches

Rear Rotors

15.4 inches

14.2 inches

Tires and Wheels

For better traction, the Temerario has larger tires than the Amalfi (F:255/35R20 & R:325/30R21 vs. F:245/35R20 & R:285/35R20).

The Temerario’s 325/30R21 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 30 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Amalfi’s standard 35 series tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Temerario has standard 21-inch rear wheels. Only 20-inch wheels are available on the Amalfi.

Suspension and Handling

For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the Temerario is 2.8 inches wider in the front than on the Amalfi.

Ergonomics

The Temerario’s standard power window controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The Amalfi’s available power window controls are spread out on the center console where they can’t be seen without the driver completely removing his eyes from the road.

Optional air-conditioned seats in the Temerario keep the driver and front passenger comfortable and take the sting out of hot seats in Summer. The Amalfi doesn’t offer air-conditioned seats.

Compared to the Ferrari Amalfi, the Lamborghini Temerario eliminates the need for separate garage door openers and associated risks of losing, breaking, or having dead batteries with its standard integrated Homelink® universal remote controlled from the driver’s seat.
