2026 Mercedes AMG GT2027 Lamborghini Revuelto

Safety

To provide maximum traction and stability on all roads, Full-Time Four-Wheel Drive is standard on the Revuelto. But it costs extra on the Mercedes AMG GT.

The Revuelto’s standard lane departure warning system alerts a temporarily inattentive driver when the vehicle begins to leave its lane and gently nudges the vehicle back towards its lane. A lane departure warning system costs extra on the Mercedes AMG GT.

Both the Revuelto and the Mercedes AMG GT have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver and front passenger knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights, rearview cameras, driver alert monitors, available crash mitigating brakes, blind spot warning systems, around view monitors and rear cross-path warning.

Warranty

The Revuelto comes with a full 3-year/unlimited-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire car and includes free 24-hour roadside assistance. The AMG GT’s 50,000-mile basic warranty expires sooner.

The Revuelto’s corrosion warranty is 7 years longer than the Mercedes AMG GT’s (12 vs. 5 years).

Lamborghini pays for scheduled maintenance on the Revuelto for 5 years and 75000 miles. Lamborghini will pay for oil changes, air filter replacements, cabin filter replacement, brake fluid replacement, inspections, and any other required maintenance (up to 5 visits). Mercedes doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the AMG GT.

In a Car and Driver racecourse test, the Lamborghini Revuelto was clocked 9 seconds faster than the Mercedes AMG GT 63 4MATIC+ (161.3 sec. vs. 170.3 sec.).

Fuel Economy and Range

The Revuelto has 4 gallons more fuel capacity than the Mercedes AMG GT (22.5 vs. 18.5 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups.

The Revuelto has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The Mercedes AMG GT doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

Brakes and Stopping

For better stopping power the Revuelto’s brake rotors are larger than those on the Mercedes AMG GT:

Tires and Wheels

For better traction, the Revuelto has larger standard tires than the Mercedes AMG GT (F:265/35R20 & R:345/30R21 vs. F:255/45R19 & R:285/40R19).

The Revuelto’s standard 265/35R20 front and 345/30R21 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 35 series front and 30 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Mercedes AMG GT 43’s standard 45 series front and 40 series rear tires. The Revuelto’s optional 355/25R22 rear tires have a lower 25 series profile than the Mercedes AMG GT’s optional 30 series tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Revuelto has standard 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels. Smaller 19-inch wheels are standard on the Mercedes AMG GT 43. The Revuelto’s optional 22-inch rear wheels are larger than the 21-inch wheels optional on the Mercedes AMG GT.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires available on the Revuelto can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The Mercedes AMG GT doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

Suspension and Handling

The Revuelto has a standard automatic front and rear load leveling suspension to keep ride height level with a heavy load or when towing. The Revuelto’s height leveling suspension allows the driver to raise ride height for better off-road clearance and then lower it again for easier entering and exiting and better on-road handling. The Mercedes AMG GT doesn’t offer a load leveling suspension.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the Revuelto’s wheelbase is 3.1 inches longer than on the Mercedes AMG GT (109.4 inches vs. 106.3 inches).

For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the Revuelto is 1.8 inches wider in the front and 1.4 inches wider in the rear than the average track on the Mercedes AMG GT.

The Revuelto handles at 1.10 G’s, while the Mercedes AMG GT 63 4MATIC+ pulls only 1.06 G’s of cornering force in a Car and Driver skidpad test.

For better maneuverability, the Revuelto’s turning circle is 4.8 feet tighter than the Mercedes AMG GT’s (38.4 feet vs. 43.2 feet).

Chassis

The Revuelto is 7.6 inches shorter in height than the Mercedes AMG GT, making the Revuelto much easier to wash and garage and drive (lower center of gravity).

Cargo Capacity

With its coupe body style and valet key, the Revuelto offers cargo security. The Mercedes AMG GT’s hatchback body style, non-lockable folding seat and non-lockable remote release defeat cargo security.

Ergonomics

The Revuelto’s instruments include an oil pressure gauge and a temperature gauge - which could save your engine! Often ‘idiot lights’ don’t warn you until damage has been done. The Mercedes AMG GT does not have an oil pressure gauge.
