Compare the2027 Lamborghini Revuelto VS 2027 Ferrari Amalfi

2027 Ferrari Amalfi2027 Lamborghini Revuelto

Safety

The Lamborghini Revuelto has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags help prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The Amalfi doesn’t offer knee airbags.

The Revuelto has standard tall side airbags, which act as a forgiving barrier between the driver and outboard passenger's upper bodies and the window and pillars. Combined with high-strength steel door beams and lower side airbags this system increases head protection in broadside collisions. The Amalfi doesn't offer side airbag protection for the head.

The Revuelto offers an optional Autonomous Emergency Brake, which uses forward mounted sensors to warn the driver of a possible collision ahead. If the driver doesn’t react and the system determines a collision is imminent, it automatically applies the brakes at full-force in order to reduce the force of the crash or avoid it altogether. The Amalfi doesn't offer collision warning or crash mitigation brakes.

The Revuelto offers all-wheel drive to maximize traction under poor conditions, especially in ice and snow. The Amalfi doesn’t offer all-wheel drive.

The Revuelto offers an optional 360 degree parking monitor to allow the driver to see objects all around the vehicle on a screen. The Amalfi only offers a rear monitor and front and rear parking sensors that beep or flash a light. That doesn’t help with obstacles to the sides.

The Revuelto’s driver alert monitor detects an inattentive driver then sounds a warning and suggests a break. According to the NHTSA, drivers who fall asleep cause about 100,000 crashes and 1500 deaths a year. The Amalfi doesn’t offer a driver alert monitor.

Both the Revuelto and the Amalfi have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, rearview cameras, available blind spot warning systems and rear cross-path warning.

Warranty

The Revuelto’s corrosion warranty is 9 years longer than the Amalfi’s (12 vs. 3 years).

Engine

The Revuelto’s standard 6.5 DOHC V12 hybrid produces 370 more horsepower (1001 vs. 631) and 483 lbs.-ft. more torque (1044 vs. 561) than the Amalfi’s 3.9 turbo V8. The Revuelto SV’s standard 6.5 DOHC V12 hybrid produces 419 more horsepower (1050 vs. 631) and 490 lbs.-ft. more torque (1051 vs. 561) than the Amalfi’s 3.9 turbo V8.

Fuel Economy and Range

On the EPA test cycle the Revuelto running on electricity gets better mileage than the Amalfi (21 city/24 hwy MPGe vs. 17 city/22 hwy).

The Revuelto can travel with zero emissions for 5 miles. The Amalfi can’t move without running its internal combustion engine.

Regenerative brakes improve the Revuelto’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The Amalfi doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.

The Revuelto has 1.4 gallons more fuel capacity than the Amalfi (22.5 vs. 21.1 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups.

The Revuelto has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The Amalfi doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

Drivetrain

All-wheel drive, available in the Revuelto, provides the best traction for acceleration in wet, dry, and icy conditions. In corners, all-wheel drive allows both outside wheels to provide power, balancing the car. This allows for better handling. The Ferrari Amalfi is not available with all-wheel drive.

Brakes and Stopping

For better stopping power the Revuelto’s brake rotors are larger than those on the Amalfi:

Tires and Wheels

For better traction, the Revuelto has larger standard tires than the Amalfi (F:265/35R20 & R:345/30R21 vs. F:245/35R20 & R:285/35R20). The Revuelto’s optional tires are larger than the largest tires available on the Amalfi (F:265/30R21 & R:355/25R22 vs. F:245/35R20 & R:285/35R20).

The Revuelto’s standard 345/30R21 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 30 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Amalfi’s standard 35 series tires. The Revuelto’s optional 265/30R21 front and 355/25R22 rear tires have a lower 30 series front and 25 series rear profile than the Amalfi’s 35 series tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Revuelto has standard 21-inch rear wheels. Only 20-inch wheels are available on the Amalfi. The Revuelto offers optional 21-inch front and 22-inch rear wheels.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires available on the Revuelto can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The Amalfi doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

Suspension and Handling

The Revuelto offers an available adjustable active suspension system, which counteracts cornering forces actively, limiting body roll and improving handling and stability. Ferrari doesn’t offer an active suspension on the Amalfi.

The Revuelto has a standard automatic front and rear load leveling suspension to keep ride height level with a heavy load or when towing. The Revuelto’s height leveling suspension allows the driver to raise ride height for better off-road clearance and then lower it again for easier entering and exiting and better on-road handling. The Amalfi doesn’t offer a load leveling suspension.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the Revuelto’s wheelbase is 4.3 inches longer than on the Amalfi (109.4 inches vs. 105.1 inches).

For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the Revuelto is 2.7 inches wider in the front and .9 inches wider in the rear than on the Amalfi.

Ergonomics

The Revuelto’s standard power window controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The Amalfi’s available power window controls are spread out on the center console where they can’t be seen without the driver completely removing his eyes from the road.

The Revuelto’s power mirror controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The Amalfi’s power mirror controls are on the dash where they are possibly hidden by the steering wheel and are awkward to manipulate.

Compared to the Ferrari Amalfi, the Lamborghini Revuelto eliminates the need for separate garage door openers and associated risks of losing, breaking, or having dead batteries with its optional integrated Homelink® universal remote controlled from the driver’s seat.
