2027 Ferrari 849 Testarossa2027 Lamborghini Revuelto

Safety

The Lamborghini Revuelto has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags help prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The 849 Testarossa doesn’t offer knee airbags.

Both the Revuelto and 849 Testarossa offer rear cross-traffic warning, but the Revuelto with Rear Cross Traffic Alert also has Rear Cross Traffic Alert (automatically applies the brakes) to better prevent a collision when backing near traffic. The 849 Testarossa’s rear cross-traffic warning doesn’t automatically brake.

Both the Revuelto and the 849 Testarossa have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, all-wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, lane departure warning systems, rearview cameras, driver alert monitors, available crash mitigating brakes, blind spot warning systems and around view monitors.

Warranty

The Revuelto’s corrosion warranty is 9 years longer than the 849 Testarossa’s (12 vs. 3 years).

Engine

The Revuelto SV’s standard 6.5 DOHC V12 hybrid produces 14 more horsepower (1050 vs. 1036) than the 849 Testarossa’s 4.0 turbo V8 hybrid.

Fuel Economy and Range

The Revuelto has 4.5 gallons more fuel capacity than the 849 Testarossa (22.5 vs. 18 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups.

Brakes and Stopping

For better stopping power the Revuelto SV’s brake rotors are larger than those on the 849 Testarossa:

Tires and Wheels

For better traction and acceleration, the Revuelto has larger standard rear tires than the 849 Testarossa (345/30R21 vs. 325/30R20). The Revuelto’s optional rear tires are larger than the largest rear tires available on the 849 Testarossa (355/25R22 vs. 325/30R20).

The Revuelto’s optional 265/30R21 front and 355/25R22 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 30 series front and 25 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the 849 Testarossa’s 35 series front and 30 series rear tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Revuelto has standard 21-inch rear wheels. Only 20-inch wheels are available on the 849 Testarossa. The Revuelto offers optional 21-inch front and 22-inch rear wheels.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires available on the Revuelto can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The 849 Testarossa doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

Suspension and Handling

The Revuelto offers an available adjustable active suspension system, which counteracts cornering forces actively, limiting body roll and improving handling and stability. Ferrari doesn’t offer an active suspension on the 849 Testarossa.

The Revuelto has a standard automatic front and rear load leveling suspension to keep ride height level with a heavy load or when towing. The Revuelto’s height leveling suspension allows the driver to raise ride height for better off-road clearance and then lower it again for easier entering and exiting and better on-road handling. The 849 Testarossa doesn’t offer a load leveling suspension.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the Revuelto’s wheelbase is 5.1 inches longer than on the 849 Testarossa (109.4 inches vs. 104.3 inches).

For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the Revuelto is 1.6 inches wider in the front and 1.1 inches wider in the rear than on the 849 Testarossa.

Cargo Capacity

The Revuelto has a larger trunk than the 849 Testarossa Coupe (4 vs. 3 cubic feet).

Ergonomics

The Revuelto’s power mirror controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The 849 Testarossa’s power mirror controls are on the dash where they are possibly hidden by the steering wheel and are awkward to manipulate.
