The Amalfi’s instruments include an oil pressure gauge and a temperature gauge - which could save your engine! Often ‘idiot lights’ don’t warn you until damage has been done. The McLaren GTS does not have an oil pressure gauge.
The Amalfi’s standard Keyless Entry and Ignition allows you to unlock the doors from either outside door handle, open the trunk, and start the engine, all without removing the key from pocket or purse. Keyless Entry and Lock standard on the McLaren GTS doesn’t offer a sensor on the trunk.
While driving with high beams on, sensitive light sensors standard on the Amalfi detect other vehicles which could be blinded and automatically switch to low beams. The McLaren GTS doesn’t offer automatic dimming high beams.
The Amalfi’s standard rear and side view mirrors have an automatic dimming feature. These mirrors can be set to automatically darken quickly when headlights shine on them, keeping following vehicles from blinding or distracting the driver. The McLaren GTS has an automatic rear view mirror, but its side mirrors don’t dim.
The Ferrari Amalfi has power folding mirrors that offer unparalleled convenience while maneuvering in tight places or parked. With the mirrors folded it’s easier to walk past and help prevent parking damage. The mirrors can be quickly unfolded when the driver is ready to leave. Power folding mirrors costs extra on the McLaren GTS.
On extremely cold winter days, the Amalfi’s standard heated steering wheel provides comfort, allowing the driver to steer safely and comfortably before the car heater warms up. The McLaren GTS doesn’t offer a heated steering wheel.
To keep a safe, consistent following distance, the Amalfi has a standard Adaptive CruiseControl, which alters the speed of the vehicle without driver intervention. This allows the driver to use cruise control more safely without constantly having to disengage it when approaching slower traffic. The McLaren GTS doesn’t offer an adaptive cruise control.
To help keep the driver’s hands on the wheel, the Amalfi has standard steering wheel controls for the radio. The McLaren GTS doesn’t offer steering wheel audio controls.
Standard smartphone integration for the Amalfi allows the driver and passengers access to select programs on their smartphones, including reading text messages aloud, playing internet radio stations and other connected activities without taking their eyes off the road or their hands from the wheel. The McLaren GTS doesn’t offer factory integrated smartphone program access.
To quickly and conveniently keep personal devices charged without cables tangling and wearing out, the Ferrari Amalfi has a standard wireless phone charging system (Qi) in the front center console. The McLaren GTS doesn’t offer wireless personal charging.
