Compare the2027 Ferrari Amalfi VS 2027 Chevrolet Corvette

The Amalfi has standard parking sensors to help warn the driver about vehicles, pedestrians or other obstacles behind or in front of their vehicle. The Corvette doesn’t offer a front parking aid.

The Amalfi has a standard blind spot warning system that uses sensors to alert the driver to objects in the vehicle’s blind spots where the side view mirrors don’t reveal them. A system to reveal vehicles in the Corvette’s blind spot costs extra.

To help make backing out of a parking space safer, the Amalfi has standard rear cross-path warning, helping the driver avoid collisions. Chevrolet charges extra for Rear Cross Traffic Alert on the Corvette.

Both the Amalfi and the Corvette have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems and rearview cameras.

The Amalfi comes with a full 3-year/unlimited-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire car and includes free 24-hour roadside assistance. The Corvette’s 3-year/36,000-mile basic warranty expires sooner.

The Amalfi’s corrosion warranty is unlimited miles longer than the Corvette’s (unlimited vs. 100,000 miles).

Ferrari pays for scheduled maintenance on the Amalfi for 7 years and unlimited miles. Ferrari will pay for oil changes, air filter replacements, cabin filter replacement, brake fluid replacement, inspections, and any other required maintenance. Chevrolet only pays for the first scheduled maintenance visit on the Corvette.

For smoother operation, better efficiency and fewer moving parts, the Amalfi has an overhead cam design, rather than the old pushrod design of some of the engines in the Corvette.

The Amalfi’s 3.9 turbo V8 produces 96 more horsepower (631 vs. 535) and 41 lbs.-ft. more torque (561 vs. 520) than the Corvette’s standard 6.7 V8. The Amalfi’s 3.9 turbo V8 produces 101 lbs.-ft. more torque (561 vs. 460) than the Corvette Z06’s standard 5.5 DOHC V8.

The Amalfi has 2.6 gallons more fuel capacity than the Corvette (21.1 vs. 18.5 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Amalfi has standard 20-inch wheels. Smaller 19-inch front wheels are standard on the Corvette.

For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the Amalfi is 1.8 inches wider in the rear than the average track on the Corvette.

The Amalfi’s front to rear weight distribution is more even (50% to 50%) than the Corvette’s (41.6% to 58.4%). This gives the Amalfi more stable handling and braking.

The Amalfi has standard seating for 4 passengers; the Corvette can only carry 2.

If the windows are left open on the Amalfi the driver can close all of them from a distance using the remote. On a hot day the driver can also lower the windows the same way. The driver of the Corvette can only close the windows from inside the vehicle, with the ignition on.

The Amalfi’s rain-sensitive wipers adjust their speed and turn on and off automatically based on the amount of rainfall on the windshield. This allows the driver to concentrate on driving without constantly adjusting the wipers. The Corvette’s manually variable intermittent wipers have to be constantly adjusted.

To help drivers see further while navigating curves, the Amalfi has standard adaptive headlights to illuminate around corners automatically by reading vehicle speed and steering wheel angle. The Corvette doesn’t offer cornering lights.

The Ferrari Amalfi has power folding mirrors that offer unparalleled convenience while maneuvering in tight places or parked. With the mirrors folded it’s easier to walk past and help prevent parking damage. The mirrors can be quickly unfolded when the driver is ready to leave. Power folding mirrors costs extra on the Corvette.

The Amalfi has a standard heated steering wheel to take the chill out of steering on extremely cold winter days before the car heater warms up. A heated steering wheel costs extra on the Corvette.

To keep a safe, consistent following distance, the Amalfi has a standard Adaptive CruiseControl, which alters the speed of the vehicle without driver intervention. This allows the driver to use cruise control more safely without constantly having to disengage it when approaching slower traffic. The Corvette doesn’t offer an adaptive cruise control.
