2026 Bugatti Tourbillon

Safety

The 12Cilindri has standard front seat side-impact airbags and head airbags, which act as a forgiving barrier between the passengers and the door. Combined with high-strength steel door beams this system increases protection from broadside collisions. The Tourbillon doesn't offer side-impact airbags or side airbag protection for the head.

The 12Cilindri has standard crash mitigation brakes, which use forward mounted sensors to warn the driver of a possible collision ahead. If the driver doesn’t react and the system determines a collision is imminent, it automatically applies the brakes at full-force in order to reduce the force of the crash or avoid it altogether. The Tourbillon doesn't offer collision warning or crash mitigation brakes.

The 12Cilindri’s lane departure warning system alerts a temporarily inattentive driver when the vehicle begins to leave its lane and gently nudges the vehicle back towards its lane. The Tourbillon doesn’t offer a lane departure warning system.

Both the 12Cilindri and the Tourbillon have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding and rearview cameras.

Warranty

Ferrari pays for scheduled maintenance on the 12Cilindri for 3 years and unlimited miles longer than Bugatti pays for maintenance for the Tourbillon (7/unlimited vs. 4/unlimited).

Tires and Wheels

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the 12Cilindri has standard 21-inch wheels. Only 20-inch front wheels are available on the Tourbillon.

Chassis

The Ferrari 12Cilindri may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 500 pounds less than the Bugatti Tourbillon.

The 12Cilindri’s standard power retractable hardtop allows a seamless transition from an open car, to a completely sealed coupe. The Tourbillon doesn’t offer a retractable hardtop.

Ergonomics

The 12Cilindri’s standard dual zone air conditioning allows the driver and front passenger to choose two completely different temperatures so people with different temperature preferences won’t have to compromise. This makes both the driver and front passenger as comfortable as possible. The Tourbillon doesn’t offer dual zone air conditioning.

To keep a safe, consistent following distance, the 12Cilindri has a standard adaptive cruise control, which alters the speed of the vehicle without driver intervention. This allows the driver to use cruise control more safely without constantly having to disengage it when approaching slower traffic. The Tourbillon doesn’t offer an adaptive cruise control.

With standard voice command, the 12Cilindri offers the driver hands free control of the radio and the navigation computer by simply speaking. The Tourbillon doesn’t offer a voice control system.

Model Availability

The Ferrari 12Cilindri comes in coupe and convertible bodystyles; the Bugatti Tourbillon isn’t available as a convertible.
