A better fit can prevent injuries and the increased comfort also encourages passengers to buckle up. The Land Rover Range Rover Sport doesn’t offer height-adjustable seat belts.

In the past twenty years hundreds of infants and young children have died after being left in vehicles, usually by accident. When turning the vehicle off, drivers of the QX65 are reminded to check the back seat if they opened the rear door before starting out. The Range Rover Sport doesn’t offer a back seat reminder.

The Infiniti QX65 has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. The QX65 comes with a full 4-year/60,000-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire truck and includes 24-hour roadside assistance. The Range Rover Sport’s 4-year/50,000-mile basic warranty expires 10,000 miles sooner.

Infiniti’s powertrain warranty covers the QX65 2 years and 20,000 miles longer than Land Rover covers the Range Rover Sport. Any repair needed on the engine, transmission, axles, joints or driveshafts is fully covered for 6 years or 70,000 miles. Coverage on the Range Rover Sport ends after only 4 years or 50,000 miles.

The QX65’s corrosion warranty is 1 year longer than the Range Rover Sport’s (7 vs. 6 years).

Infiniti pays for scheduled maintenance on the QX65 for 3 years and 22500 miles. Infiniti will pay for oil changes, tire rotations, air filter replacements, cabin filter replacement, brake fluid replacement, inspections, and any other required maintenance. Land Rover doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the Range Rover Sport.

J.D. Power and Associates’ 2025 survey of the owners of three-year-old vehicles provides the long-term dependability statistics that show that Infiniti vehicles are more reliable than Land Rover With 62 fewer problems per 100 vehicles in the first three years of ownership, J.D. Power ranks Infiniti higher than Land Rover.

The QX65 has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The Range Rover Sport doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

A nine-speed automatic is standard on the Infiniti QX65, for better acceleration and lower engine speed on the highway. Only an eight-speed automatic is available for the Range Rover Sport.

The QX65 has a standard easy tire fill system. When inflating the tires, the vehicle’s integrated tire pressure sensors keep track of the pressure as the tires fill and tell the driver when the tires are inflated to the proper pressure. The Range Rover Sport doesn’t offer vehicle monitored tire inflation.

The Infiniti QX65 may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 350 to 1300 pounds less than the Land Rover Range Rover Sport.
