The Jaguar F-Pace doesn’t offer pretensioners for its rear seat belts.

The QX65’s pre-crash front seatbelts will tighten automatically in the event the vehicle detects an impending crash, improving protection against injury significantly. The F-Pace doesn’t offer pre-crash pretensioners.

When turning the vehicle off, drivers of the QX65 are reminded to check the back seat if they opened the rear door before starting out. The F-Pace doesn’t offer a back seat reminder.

The Infiniti QX65 has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags help prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The F-Pace doesn’t offer knee airbags.

The QX65 Autograph offers an optional front seat center airbag, which deploys between the driver and front passenger, protecting them from injuries caused by striking each other in serious side impacts. The F-Pace doesn’t offer front seat center airbags.

Over 200 people are killed each year when backed over by motor vehicles. The QX65 has standard Rear Automatic Braking that uses rear sensors to monitor for objects to the rear and automatically applies the brakes to prevent a collision. The F-Pace doesn’t offer automatic braking for stationary objects directly to the rear.

Infiniti’s powertrain warranty covers the QX65 1 year and 10,000 miles longer than Jaguar covers the F-Pace. Any repair needed on the engine, transmission, axles, joints or driveshafts is fully covered for 6 years or 70,000 miles. Coverage on the F-Pace ends after only 5 years or 60,000 miles.

The QX65’s corrosion warranty is 1 year longer than the F-Pace’s (7 vs. 6 years).

There are over 2 times as many Infiniti dealers as there are Jaguar dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the QX65’s warranty.

The QX65’s 2.0 turbo 4-cylinder produces 22 more horsepower (268 vs. 246) and 17 lbs.-ft. more torque (286 vs. 269) than the F-Pace P250’s standard 2.0 turbo 4-cylinder.

The QX65 has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The F-Pace doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

A nine-speed automatic is standard on the Infiniti QX65, for better acceleration and lower engine speed on the highway. Only an eight-speed automatic is available for the F-Pace.

The QX65’s standard tires provide better handling because they have a lower 50 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the F-Pace’s standard 55 series tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the QX65 has standard 20-inch wheels. Smaller 19-inch wheels are standard on the F-Pace.

The QX65 has a standard easy tire fill system. When inflating the tires, the vehicle’s integrated tire pressure sensors keep track of the pressure as the tires fill and tell the driver when the tires are inflated to the proper pressure. The F-Pace doesn’t offer vehicle monitored tire inflation.

The QX65’s power window, power lock, power mirror and cruise control switches are lit from behind, making them plainly visible and easier to operate at night. The F-Pace’s power mirror switches are unlit, making them difficult to find at night and operate safely.

To shield the driver and front passenger’s vision over a larger portion of the windshield and side windows, the QX65 has standard extendable sun visors. The F-Pace doesn’t offer extendable visors.

The QX65 Autograph has standard massaging front seats in order to maximize comfort and eliminate fatigue on long trips. Massaging seats aren’t available in the F-Pace.
