For enhanced safety, the front and rear seat shoulder belts of the Infiniti QX65 are height-adjustable to accommodate a wide variety of driver and passenger heights. A better fit can prevent injuries and the increased comfort also encourages passengers to buckle up. The Genesis GV70 has only front height-adjustable seat belts.

The Infiniti QX65 has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags help prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The GV70 doesn’t offer a front passenger side knee airbag.

Both the QX65 and the GV70 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, front and rear seatbelt pretensioners, height adjustable front shoulder belts, four-wheel antilock brakes, all wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, rearview cameras, rear cross-path warning, driver alert monitors and available around view monitors.

Power and Associates’ 2025 survey of the owners of three-year-old vehicles provides the long-term dependability statistics that show that Infiniti vehicles are more reliable than Genesis With 5 fewer problems per 100 vehicles in the first three years of ownership, J.D. Power ranks Infiniti higher than Genesis.

On the EPA test cycle the QX65 gets better fuel mileage than the GV70 3.5 turbo V6 (20 city/26 hwy vs. 18 city/25 hwy).

The QX65 has 1.1 gallons more fuel capacity than the GV70 (18.5 vs. 17.4 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups.

The QX65 has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The GV70 doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

A nine-speed automatic is standard on the Infiniti QX65, for better acceleration and lower engine speed on the highway. Only an eight-speed automatic is available for the GV70.

For better traction, the QX65 has larger standard tires than the GV70 (255/50R20 vs. 235/55R19). The QX65 Autograph’s tires are larger than the largest tires available on the GV70 (265/45R21 vs. 255/40R21).

The QX65’s standard tires provide better handling because they have a lower 50 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the GV70’s standard 55 series tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the QX65 has standard 20-inch wheels. Smaller 19-inch wheels are standard on the GV70.

The QX65 has a standard easy tire fill system. When inflating the tires, the vehicle’s integrated tire pressure sensors keep track of the pressure as the tires fill and tell the driver when the tires are inflated to the proper pressure. The GV70 doesn’t offer vehicle monitored tire inflation.

The QX65 has vehicle speed sensitive variable-assist power steering, for low-effort parking, better control at highway speeds and during hard cornering, and a better feel of the road. The GV70 doesn’t offer variable-assist power steering.

For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the QX65 is 2.1 inches wider in the front and 1.4 inches wider in the rear than the average track on the GV70.

The QX65 uses computer-generated active noise cancellation to help remove annoying noise and vibration from the passenger compartment, especially at low frequencies. The GV70 doesn’t offer active noise cancellation.

The QX65 has 4.8 cubic feet more passenger volume than the GV70 (108.4 vs. 103.6).

J.D. Power and Associates surveys of service recipients show that Infiniti service is better than Genesis. J.D. Power ranks Infiniti 7th in service department satisfaction (above the industry average). With a 47% lower rating, Genesis is ranked 29th.

The QX65 has a standard remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The climate system will also automatically heat or cool the interior. The GV70 doesn’t offer a remote starting system.

The Infiniti QX65 has power folding mirrors that offer unparalleled convenience while maneuvering in tight places or parked. With the mirrors folded it’s easier to walk past and help prevent parking damage. The mirrors can be quickly unfolded when the driver is ready to leave. Power folding mirrors are only offered on the GV70 Select/Advanced/Prestige.

The QX65 has a standard heated steering wheel to take the chill out of steering on extremely cold winter days before the vehicle heater warms up. A heated steering wheel is only available on the GV70 Prestige/3.5T.

To quickly and conveniently keep personal devices charged without cables tangling and wearing out, the Infiniti QX65 has a standard wireless phone charging system (Qi) in the center console. Only the GV70 Select/Advanced/Prestige offers wireless charging.
