Safety

The Spectre’s pre-crash front seatbelts will tighten automatically in the event the vehicle detects an impending crash, improving protection against injury significantly. The Celestiq doesn’t offer pre-crash pretensioners.

Both the Spectre and the Celestiq have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver and front passenger knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, front and rear seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, all wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, around view monitors, rear cross-path warning and driver alert monitors.

Warranty

The Spectre comes with a full 4-year/unlimited-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire car and includes 24-hour roadside assistance. The Celestiq’s 4-year/50,000-mile basic warranty expires sooner.

Rolls-Royce pays for scheduled maintenance on the Spectre for 4 years and unlimited miles. Rolls-Royce will pay for brake fluid replacement, inspections, and any other required maintenance. Cadillac only pays for the first scheduled maintenance visit on the Celestiq.

Engine

The Spectre’s standard electric motors produces 18 lbs.-ft. more torque (664 vs. 646) than the Celestiq’s electric motors. The Black Badge Spectre’s standard electric motors produces 4 more horsepower (659 vs. 655) and 146 lbs.-ft. more torque (792 vs. 646) than the Celestiq’s electric motors.

Fuel Economy and Range

The Spectre has a standard locking charge port, which locks and unlocks with the power locks. The Celestiq doesn’t have a locking charge port. A locking charge port prevents tampering and damage.

The Rolls-Royce Spectre may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 450 pounds less than the Cadillac Celestiq.

Cargo Capacity

With its coupe body style and remote trunk release lockout, the Spectre offers cargo security. The Celestiq’s hatchback body style defeats cargo security.

Servicing Ease

A maintenance reminder system is standard on the Spectre to save the owner time and money by calculating maintenance intervals for brake pad replacement and vehicle inspections based on odometer mileage. This takes the guesswork out of keeping your vehicle in top condition and helps it last longer. Cadillac doesn’t offer a maintenance reminder on the Celestiq.

Ergonomics

The Spectre has a standard heads-up display that projects speed, warning and infotainment readouts in front of the driver’s line of sight, allowing drivers to view information without diverting their eyes from the road. The Celestiq doesn’t offer a heads-up display.

Heated windshield washer nozzles are standard on the Spectre to prevent washer fluid and nozzles from freezing and help continue to keep the windshield clear in sub-freezing temperatures. The Celestiq doesn’t offer heated windshield washer nozzles.
