The Lexus ES may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 450 to 900 pounds less than the Polestar 4.

The ES uses computer-generated active noise cancellation to help remove annoying noise and vibration from the passenger compartment, especially at low frequencies. The Polestar 4 doesn’t offer active noise cancellation.

Unlike the driver-only memory seat and mirrors in the Polestar 4, the ES Luxury has a passenger memory, so that when drivers switch, the memory setting adjusts the driver’s seat, steering wheel position and outside mirror angle and the front passenger seat also adjusts to the new passenger’s preset preferences.

The ES Luxury/Premium+’s Advanced Park can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, with the driver only controlling speed with the brake pedal. The Polestar 4 doesn’t offer an automated parking system.
