Both the F-Pace and AMG GLC Coupe have child safety locks to prevent children from opening the rear doors. The F-Pace has power child safety locks, allowing the driver to activate and deactivate them from the driver's seat and to know when they're engaged. The AMG GLC Coupe’s child locks have to be individually engaged at each rear door with a manual switch. The driver can’t know the status of the locks without opening the doors and checking them.

The F-Pace’s standard lane departure warning system alerts a temporarily inattentive driver when the vehicle begins to leave its lane and gently nudges the vehicle back towards its lane. A lane departure warning system costs extra on the AMG GLC Coupe.

The Jaguar F-Pace’s rear backup camera has a standard washer for maintaining a clear view under various conditions. In contrast, the Mercedes AMG GLC Coupe does not offer a rear camera washer, meaning its effectiveness relies on manual cleaning by the user when necessary.

Both the F-Pace and the AMG GLC Coupe have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, all wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, blind spot warning systems, around view monitors, rear cross-path warning and driver alert monitors.

The F-Pace comes with a full 5-year/60,000-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire truck and includes 24-hour roadside assistance. The AMG GLC Coupe’s 4-year/50,000-mile basic warranty expires 1 year or 10,000 miles sooner.

The F-Pace’s corrosion warranty is 1 year longer than the AMG GLC Coupe’s (6 vs. 5 years).

Jaguar pays for scheduled maintenance on the F-Pace for 5 years and 60,000 miles. Jaguar will pay for oil changes, tire rotations, air filter replacements, cabin filter replacement, brake fluid replacement, inspections, and any other required maintenance. Mercedes doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the AMG GLC Coupe.

J.D. Power and Associates’ 2025 Initial Quality Study of new car owners surveyed provide the statistics that show that Jaguar vehicles are better in initial quality than Mercedes vehicles. J.D. Power ranks Jaguar fourth in initial quality, above the industry average. With 35 more problems per 100 vehicles, Mercedes is ranked 21st, below the industry average.

The F-Pace has 5.5 gallons more fuel capacity than the AMG GLC Coupe 43’s standard fuel tank (21.9 vs. 16.4 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups. The F-Pace has 4.7 gallons more fuel capacity than the AMG GLC Coupe 63 S E Performance’s standard fuel tank (21.9 vs. 17.2 gallons).

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the F-Pace offers optional 22-inch wheels. The AMG GLC Coupe’s largest wheels are only 21-inches.

The F-Pace offers an optional full size spare tire so a flat doesn’t interrupt your trip. A full size spare isn’t available on the AMG GLC Coupe; it requires you to depend on its run-flat tires, which limits mileage and speed before they are repaired. If a run-flat is damaged beyond repair by a road hazard your vehicle will have to be towed. Some tire options on the AMG GLC Coupe don’t have a run-flat feature, either.

For better maneuverability, the F-Pace’s turning circle is 1.5 feet tighter than the AMG GLC Coupe’s (39.2 feet vs. 40.7 feet). The F-Pace SVR’s turning circle is 1.3 feet tighter than the AMG GLC Coupe’s (39.4 feet vs. 40.7 feet).
