The MCPura offers optional Automated Emergency Braking, which use forward mounted sensors to warn the driver of a possible collision ahead. If the driver doesn’t react and the system determines a collision is imminent, it automatically applies the brakes at full-force in order to reduce the force of the crash or avoid it altogether. The SF90 doesn't offer collision warning or crash mitigation brakes.

The MCPura offers an optional Surround View System to allow the driver to see objects all around the vehicle on a screen. The SF90 only offers a rear monitor and rear parking sensors that beep or flash a light. That doesn’t help with obstacles to the front or sides.

To help make backing out of a parking space safer, the MCPura’s standard Rear Cross Path uses sensors in the rear to alert the driver to vehicles approaching from the side, helping the driver avoid collisions. The SF90 doesn’t offer a rear cross-path warning system.

Both the MCPura and the SF90 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights and rearview cameras.

The MCPura comes with a full 4-year/50,000-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire car and includes free 24-hour roadside assistance. The SF90’s 3-year basic warranty expires 1 year sooner.

The MCPura’s corrosion warranty is 1 year longer than the SF90’s (4 vs. 3 years).

There are over 2 times as many Maserati dealers as there are Ferrari dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the MCPura’s warranty.

On the EPA test cycle the MCPura 3.0 turbo V6 gets better fuel mileage than the SF90 XX Stradale 4.0 turbo V8 Hybrid running its gasoline engine (15 city/25 hwy vs. 16 city/19 hwy).

The MCPura has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The SF90 doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

In its Green Vehicle Guide, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rates the Maserati MCPura higher (4 out of 10) than the Ferrari SF90 (2 to 4). This means the MCPura produces up to 15.6 pounds less smog-producing pollutants than the SF90 every 15,000 miles.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the MCPura’s wheelbase is 2 inches longer than on the SF90 (106.3 inches vs. 104.3 inches).

The Maserati MCPura may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs up to about 200 pounds less than the Ferrari SF90.

The MCPura Coupe has a much larger trunk than the SF90 Coupe (5.3 vs. 2.6 cubic feet).

The MCPura uses gas struts to support the hood for easier service access. The SF90 uses a prop rod to support its heavy hood. It takes two hands to open the hood and set the prop rod, the prop rod gets in the way during maintenance and service, and the prop rod could be knocked out, causing the heavy hood to fall on the person maintaining or servicing the car.

The MCPura has a standard remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The climate system will also automatically heat or cool the interior. The SF90 doesn’t offer a remote starting system.

The MCPura’s front power windows open or close with one touch of the switches, making it more convenient at drive-up windows and toll booths, or when talking with someone outside of the car. The SF90’s front passenger window doesn’t close automatically.

The MCPura’s standard Extended Keyless Go allow you to unlock the doors from either outside door handle and start the engine, all without removing the key from the pocket or purse. Push-button start standard on the SF90 only offers hands-free access for the ignition, none to unlock the car.

The MCPura offers optional heated front seats, which keep the driver and front passenger extremely comfortable in the winter. Heated seats aren’t available in the SF90.

The MCPura’s standard dual zone air conditioning allows the driver and front passenger to choose two completely different temperatures so people with different temperature preferences won’t have to compromise. This makes both the driver and front passenger as comfortable as possible. The SF90 doesn’t offer dual zone air conditioning.

To quickly and conveniently keep personal devices charged without cables tangling and wearing out, the Maserati MCPura has a standard wireless phone charging system (Qi) in the front center console. The SF90 doesn’t offer wireless personal charging.
