Safety
Warranty
The MCPura comes with a full 4-year/50,000-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire car and includes free 24-hour roadside assistance. The Vanquish’s 3-year basic warranty expires 1 year sooner.
There are almost 3 times as many Maserati dealers as there are Aston Martin dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the MCPura’s warranty.
Fuel Economy and Range
On the EPA test cycle the MCPura 3.0 turbo V6 gets better fuel mileage than the Vanquish (15 city/25 hwy vs. 13 city/21 hwy).
Environmental Friendliness
In its Green Vehicle Guide, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rates the Maserati MCPura higher (4 out of 10) than the Aston Martin Vanquish (2). This means the MCPura produces up to 15.6 pounds less smog-producing pollutants than the Vanquish every 15,000 miles.
Transmission
The MCPura offers a standard sequential manual gearbox (SMG). With no clutch pedal to worry about and a fully automatic mode, an SMG is much more efficient than a conventional automatic but just as easy to drive. The Vanquish doesn’t offer an SMG or a conventional manual transmission.
Suspension and Handling
For better maneuverability, the MCPura’s turning circle is 3 feet tighter than the Vanquish’s (38.7 feet vs. 41.7 feet).
Chassis
The Maserati MCPura may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 950 to 1000 pounds less than the Aston Martin Vanquish.
The MCPura is shorter than the Vanquish, making the MCPura easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces:

The MCPura’s standard power retractable hardtop allows a seamless transition from an open car, to a completely sealed coupe. The Vanquish doesn’t offer a retractable hardtop.
Ergonomics
The MCPura has a standard remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The climate system will also automatically heat or cool the interior. The Vanquish doesn’t offer a remote starting system.
