Compare the2026 Lamborghini TemerarioVS 2025 Aston Martin Vanquish

2026 Lamborghini Temerario
2025 Aston Martin Vanquish

Safety

The Temerario has all-wheel drive to maximize traction under poor conditions, especially in ice and snow. The Vanquish doesn’t offer all-wheel drive.

Both the Temerario and Vanquish offer rear cross-traffic warning, but the Temerario with Rear Cross Traffic Alert also has Rear Cross Traffic Alert (automatically applies the brakes) to better prevent a collision when backing near traffic. The Vanquish’s Rear Cross Traffic Assist doesn’t automatically brake.

Both the Temerario and the Vanquish have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver and front passenger knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, rearview cameras, available crash mitigating brakes, blind spot warning systems and around view monitors.

Warranty

The Temerario’s corrosion warranty is 2 years longer than the Vanquish’s (12 vs. 10 years).

Lamborghini pays for scheduled maintenance on the Temerario for 5 years and 75000 miles. Lamborghini will pay for oil changes, air filter replacements, cabin filter replacement, brake fluid replacement, inspections, and any other required maintenance (up to 5 visits). Aston Martin doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the Vanquish.

Engine

The Temerario’s 4.0 turbo V8 hybrid produces 84 more horsepower (908 vs. 824) than the Vanquish’s 5.2 turbo V12.

Fuel Economy and Range

Regenerative brakes improve the Temerario’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The Vanquish doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.

Environmental Friendliness

In its Green Vehicle Guide, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rates the Lamborghini Temerario higher (5 out of 10) than the Aston Martin Vanquish (2). This means the Temerario produces up to 20.8 pounds less smog-producing pollutants than the Vanquish every 15,000 miles.

Transmission and Drivetrain

The Temerario offers a standard sequential manual gearbox (SMG). With no clutch pedal to worry about and a fully automatic mode, an SMG is much more efficient than a conventional automatic but just as easy to drive. The Vanquish doesn’t offer an SMG or a conventional manual transmission.

All wheel drive, available in the Temerario, provides the best traction for acceleration in wet, dry, and icy conditions. In corners, all wheel drive allows both outside wheels to provide power, balancing the car. This allows for better handling. The Aston Martin Vanquish is not available with all wheel drive.

Suspension and Handling

For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the Temerario is 1.7 inches wider in the front than on the Vanquish.

For better maneuverability, the Temerario’s turning circle is 2.3 feet tighter than the Vanquish’s (39.4 feet vs. 41.7 feet).

Chassis

The Lamborghini Temerario may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 500 to 700 pounds less than the Aston Martin Vanquish.

The Temerario is 7.2 inches shorter than the Vanquish, making the Temerario easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.
