The Lamborghini Revuelto has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags help prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The 911 doesn’t offer knee airbags.

To provide maximum traction and stability on all roads, Full-Time Four-Wheel Drive is standard on the Revuelto. But it costs extra on the 911.

Both the Revuelto and the 911 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, rearview cameras, available crash mitigating brakes, blind spot warning systems, around view monitors and rear cross-path warning.

The Revuelto comes with a full 3-year/unlimited-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire car and includes free 24-hour roadside assistance. The 911’s 50,000-mile basic warranty expires sooner.

Lamborghini pays for scheduled maintenance (up to 5 visits) on the Revuelto for 4 years and 65000 miles longer than Porsche pays for maintenance for the 911 (5/75000 vs. 1/10,000).

The Revuelto’s 6.5 DOHC V12 hybrid produces 613 more horsepower (1001 vs. 388) and 713 lbs.-ft. more torque (1044 vs. 331) than the 911’s standard 3.0 turbo 6-cylinder. The Revuelto’s 6.5 DOHC V12 hybrid produces 528 more horsepower (1001 vs. 473) and 654 lbs.-ft. more torque (1044 vs. 390) than the 911 S’ standard 3.0 turbo 6-cylinder. The Revuelto’s 6.5 DOHC V12 hybrid produces 499 more horsepower (1001 vs. 502) and 713 lbs.-ft. more torque (1044 vs. 331) than the 911 GT3’s standard 4.0 DOHC 6-cylinder. The Revuelto’s 6.5 DOHC V12 hybrid produces 361 more horsepower (1001 vs. 640) and 454 lbs.-ft. more torque (1044 vs. 590) than the 911 Turbo S’ standard 3.7 turbo 6-cylinder.

As tested in Car and Driver the Lamborghini Revuelto is faster than the Porsche 911 3.0 turbo 6-cylinder (automatics tested):

The Revuelto Ultimae can travel with zero emissions for 5 miles. The 911 can’t move without running its internal combustion engine.

The Revuelto has 5.9 gallons more fuel capacity than the 911’s standard fuel tank (22.5 vs. 16.6 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups.

The Revuelto has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The 911 doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

For better traction, the Revuelto has larger standard tires than the 911 (F:265/35R20 & R:345/30R21 vs. F:235/40R19 & R:295/35R20).

The Revuelto’s standard 265/35R20 front and 345/30R21 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 35 series front and 30 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the 911 Dakar’s standard 45 series front and 40 series rear tires. The Revuelto’s optional 355/25R22 rear tires have a lower 25 series profile than the 911 GT3 RS’ optional 30 series tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Revuelto has standard 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels. Smaller 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels are standard on the 911. The Revuelto’s optional 21-inch front and 22-inch rear wheels are larger than the 20-inch front wheels and 21-inch rear wheels optional on the 911.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires available on the Revuelto can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The 911 doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

The Revuelto offers an available adjustable active suspension system, which counteracts cornering forces actively, limiting body roll and improving handling and stability. Porsche doesn’t offer an active suspension on the 911.

The Revuelto has a standard automatic front and rear load leveling suspension to keep ride height level with a heavy load or when towing. The Revuelto’s height leveling suspension allows the driver to raise ride height for better off-road clearance and then lower it again for easier entering and exiting and better on-road handling. The 911 doesn’t offer a load leveling suspension.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the Revuelto’s wheelbase is 12.9 inches longer than on the 911 (109.4 inches vs. 96.5 inches).

For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the Revuelto is 4.9 inches wider in the front and 5.4 inches wider in the rear than the average track on the 911.

The Revuelto’s front to rear weight distribution is more even (43.7% to 56.3%) than the 911’s (39.5% to 60.5%). This gives the Revuelto more stable handling and braking.

The Revuelto handles at 1.10 G’s, while the 911 Carrera 4 GTS Coupe pulls only 1.03 G’s of cornering force in a Car and Driver skidpad test.

With its coupe body style and valet key, the Revuelto offers cargo security. The 911’s non-lockable folding seat defeats cargo security.

If the windows are left open on the Revuelto the driver can close all of them at the outside door handle or from a distance using the remote. On a hot day the driver can lower the windows from a distance using the keyless remote. The driver of the 911 can only operate the windows from inside the vehicle, with the ignition on.

The Revuelto has standard keyless entry system that allows you to unlock the doors from either outside door handle and start the car, all without removing the key from the pocket or purse. The 911 GT3 doesn’t offer Comfort Access.

The Revuelto’s power window, power lock, power mirror and cruise control switches are lit from behind, making them plainly visible and easier to operate at night. The 911’s cruise control switches are unlit, making them difficult to find at night and operate safely.
