The Lamborghini Revuelto has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags help prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The DB12 doesn’t offer knee airbags.

The Revuelto Ultimae has all-wheel drive to maximize traction under poor conditions, especially in ice and snow. The DB12 doesn’t offer all-wheel drive.

Both the Revuelto and DB12 offer rear cross-traffic warning, but the Revuelto with Rear Cross Traffic Alert also has Rear Cross Traffic Alert (automatically applies the brakes) to better prevent a collision when backing near traffic. The DB12’s Rear Cross Traffic Assist doesn’t automatically brake.

The Revuelto’s corrosion warranty is 2 years longer than the DB12’s (12 vs. 10 years).

Lamborghini pays for scheduled maintenance on the Revuelto for 5 years and 75000 miles. Lamborghini will pay for oil changes, air filter replacements, cabin filter replacement, brake fluid replacement, inspections, and any other required maintenance (up to 5 visits). Aston Martin doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the DB12.

The Revuelto’s 6.5 DOHC V12 hybrid produces 331 more horsepower (1001 vs. 670) and 531 lbs.-ft. more torque (1044 vs. 513) than the DB12’s 4.0 turbo V8.

The Revuelto Ultimae can travel with zero emissions for 5 miles. The DB12 can’t move without running its internal combustion engine.

Regenerative brakes improve the Revuelto’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The DB12 doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.

The Revuelto has 2 gallons more fuel capacity than the DB12 (22.5 vs. 20.5 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups.

The Revuelto has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The DB12 doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

The Revuelto offers an available sequential manual gearbox (SMG). With no clutch pedal to worry about and a fully automatic mode, an SMG is much more efficient than a conventional automatic but just as easy to drive. The DB12 doesn’t offer an SMG or a conventional manual transmission.

All wheel drive, available in the Revuelto, provides the best traction for acceleration in wet, dry, and icy conditions. In corners, all wheel drive allows both outside wheels to provide power, balancing the car. This allows for better handling. The Aston Martin DB12 is not available with all wheel drive.

The Revuelto has standard heat-treated ceramic brake rotors, which last ten to twenty times as long as conventional cast iron rotors, don’t rust, don’t fade during repeated high speed braking, and their lighter weight contribute to better braking, handling and acceleration. The DB12 doesn’t offer ceramic brake rotors.

For better traction and acceleration, the Revuelto has larger standard rear tires than the DB12 (345/30R21 vs. 305/30R21). The Revuelto’s optional rear tires are larger than the largest rear tires available on the DB12 (355/25R22 vs. 305/30R21).

The Revuelto’s optional 265/30R21 front and 355/25R22 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 30 series front and 25 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the DB12’s 35 series front and 30 series rear tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Revuelto offers optional 22-inch rear wheels. The DB12’s largest wheels are only 21-inches.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires available on the Revuelto can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The DB12 doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

The Revuelto offers an available adjustable active suspension system, which counteracts cornering forces actively, limiting body roll and improving handling and stability. Aston Martin doesn’t offer an active suspension on the DB12.

The Revuelto has a standard automatic front and rear load leveling suspension to keep ride height level with a heavy load or when towing. The Revuelto’s height leveling suspension allows the driver to raise ride height for better off-road clearance and then lower it again for easier entering and exiting and better on-road handling. The DB12 doesn’t offer a load leveling suspension.

For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the Revuelto is 2.1 inches wider in the front and 2.2 inches wider in the rear than on the DB12.

With its coupe body style and valet key, the Revuelto offers cargo security. The DB12’s non-lockable remote release defeats cargo security.

A standard locking glovebox (which can’t be accessed with the valet key) keeps your small valuables safer in the Revuelto. The DB12 doesn’t offer locking storage for small valuables.

The Revuelto’s instruments include an oil pressure gauge and a temperature gauge - which could save your engine! Often ‘idiot lights’ don’t warn you until damage has been done. The DB12 does not have an oil pressure gauge.

The Revuelto’s power window, power lock, power mirror and cruise control switches are lit from behind, making them plainly visible and easier to operate at night. The DB12’s cruise control switches are unlit, making them difficult to find at night and operate safely.

The Revuelto’s standard rear and side view mirrors have an automatic dimming feature. These mirrors can be set to automatically darken quickly when headlights shine on them, keeping following vehicles from blinding or distracting the driver. The DB12 has an automatic rear view mirror, but its side mirrors don’t dim.
