Over 200 people are killed each year when backed over by motor vehicles. The Charger has standard Rear Park Assist with Stop that uses rear sensors to monitor for objects to the rear and automatically applies the brakes to prevent a collision. The A6 e-tron doesn’t offer automatic braking for stationary objects directly to the rear.

To provide maximum traction and stability on all roads, All-Wheel Drive is standard on the Charger. But it costs extra on the A6 e-tron.

Both the Charger and the A6 e-tron have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver and front passenger knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, rearview cameras, rear cross-path warning, driver alert monitors and available around view monitors.

Dodge’s powertrain warranty covers the Charger 1 year and 10,000 miles longer than Audi covers the A6 e-tron. Any repair needed on the engine, transmission, axles, joints or driveshafts is fully covered for 5 years or 60,000 miles. Coverage on the A6 e-tron ends after only 4 years or 50,000 miles.

There are almost 8 times as many Dodge dealers as there are Audi dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Charger’s warranty.

For better traction, the Charger has larger standard tires than the A6 e-tron (275/40R20 vs. 225/55R19). The Charger’s optional tires are larger than the largest tires available on the A6 e-tron (F:305/35R20 & R:325/35R20 vs. F:235/45R20 & R:265/40R20).

The Charger Scat Pack’s standard tires provide better handling because they have a lower 40 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the A6 e-tron’s 55 series front and 50 series rear tires. The Charger’s optional tires have a lower 35 series profile than the A6 e-tron’s 45 series front and 40 series rear tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Charger has standard 20-inch wheels. Smaller 19-inch wheels are standard on the A6 e-tron.

The Charger has a standard easy tire fill system. When inflating the tires, the vehicle’s integrated tire pressure sensors keep track of the pressure as the tires fill and tell the driver when the tires are inflated to the proper pressure. The A6 e-tron doesn’t offer vehicle monitored tire inflation.

Heated windshield washer nozzles are standard on the Charger to prevent washer fluid and nozzles from freezing and help continue to keep the windshield clear in sub-freezing temperatures. The A6 e-tron doesn’t offer heated windshield washer nozzles.

The Charger has a standard heated steering wheel to take the chill out of steering on extremely cold winter days before the car heater warms up. A heated steering wheel costs extra on the A6 e-tron.

The Charger is equipped with both FM and AM stereo radios, offering access to more content and better coverage than the A6 e-tron, which solely provides FM radio. With AM radio, you can enjoy a wider variety of stations featuring news, talk shows, sports commentary, native language programing, automated traffic guidance, and emergency broadcasts. AM waves travel further and penetrate buildings and obstacles more effectively than FM signals, especially at night. Having both FM and AM stereo radios the Charger offers a more comprehensive listening experience compared to only FM in the A6 e-tron.

HD Radio boasts several benefits over conventional radio: superior sound quality with clearer and consistent FM broadcasts, CD-quality audio, and Multicast Channels offering up to four streams from a single station, adding programming choices. Cars like the Charger equipped with HD Radio provide an improved in-car entertainment experience. The A6 e-tron, devoid of this technology, foregoes these benefits. Selecting the Dodge Charger empowers drivers to enjoy a more immersive and enjoyable listening experience while on the go.
