To help make backing out of a parking space safer, the F-Pace has standard Rear Traffic Warning and Rear Traffic Braking automatically engages the brakes to help avoid a collision. Audi charges extra for Rear Cross-Traffic Assist on the A4 Allroad.

The F-Pace’s driver alert monitor detects an inattentive driver then sounds a warning and suggests a break. According to the NHTSA, drivers who fall asleep cause about 100,000 crashes and 1500 deaths a year. The A4 Allroad doesn’t offer a driver alert monitor.

Both the F-Pace and the A4 Allroad have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, all wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems and rearview cameras.

The F-Pace comes with a full 5-year/60,000-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire truck and includes 24-hour roadside assistance. The A4 Allroad’s 4-year/50,000-mile basic warranty expires 1 year or 10,000 miles sooner.

Jaguar pays for scheduled maintenance on the F-Pace for 5 years and 60,000 miles. Jaguar will pay for oil changes, tire rotations, air filter replacements, cabin filter replacement, brake fluid replacement, inspections, and any other required maintenance. Audi only pays for the first scheduled maintenance visit on the A4 Allroad.

To reliably start during all conditions and help handle large electrical loads, the F-Pace has a standard 800-amp battery. The A4 Allroad’s 420-amp battery isn’t as powerful.

J.D. Power and Associates’ 2025 Initial Quality Study of new car owners surveyed provide the statistics that show that Jaguar vehicles are better in initial quality than Audi vehicles. J.D. Power ranks Jaguar fourth in initial quality, above the industry average. With 94 more problems per 100 vehicles, Audi is ranked 30th, below the industry average.

The F-Pace P400’s standard 3.0 turbo/supercharged 6-cylinder hybrid produces 134 more horsepower (395 vs. 261) and 133 lbs.-ft. more torque (406 vs. 273) than the A4 Allroad’s 2.0 turbo 4-cylinder hybrid. The F-Pace SVR’s standard 5.0 supercharged V8 produces 306 more horsepower (567 vs. 261) and 243 lbs.-ft. more torque (516 vs. 273) than the A4 Allroad’s 2.0 turbo 4-cylinder hybrid.

The F-Pace has 6.6 gallons more fuel capacity than the A4 Allroad (21.9 vs. 15.3 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups.

An eight-speed automatic is standard on the Jaguar F-Pace, for better acceleration and lower engine speed on the highway. Only a seven-speed automatic is available for the A4 Allroad.

To quickly and conveniently keep personal devices charged without cables tangling and wearing out, the Jaguar F-Pace has a standard wireless phone charging system (Qi) in the center console. Only the A4 Allroad Premium Plus/Prestige offers wireless charging.

The F-Pace’s Park Assist can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, starting, stopping and changing direction automatically. The A4 Allroad Prestige’s automatic parking system requires operating the brakes and transmission to safely park.

J.D. Power and Associates rated the F-Pace third among compact premium suvs in owner reported satisfaction. This includes how well the vehicle performs and satisfies its owner’s expectations. The A4 Allroad isn’t in the top three.
