When three different drivers share the Vanquish, the memory system makes it convenient for all three. Each setting activates different, customized memories for the driver and front passenger’s seat positions, steering wheel position and outside mirror angle. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer a memory system.
The Vanquish’s front power windows open or close with one touch of the switches, making it more convenient at drive-up windows and toll booths, or when talking with someone outside of the car. The Daytona SP3’s front passenger window doesn’t close automatically.
The Vanquish’s standard power window controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The Daytona SP3’s available power window controls are spread out on the center console where they can’t be seen without the driver completely removing his eyes from the road.
If the windows are left open on the Vanquish the driver can close them all from a distance using the remote. On a hot day the driver can also lower the windows the same way. The driver of the Daytona SP3 can only operate the windows from inside the vehicle, with the ignition on.
In case of a sudden change of weather, the Vanquish Convertible has a standard remote convertible top that can be raised from a distance to protect the interior of the vehicle from damage. On a hot day the Vanquish Convertible has a standard remote opening feature, to lower the top from outside. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer a remote top, so the driver will have to run to the car, get in, turn the ignition on and raise the top to prevent the interior from being damaged.
The Vanquish’s standard Keyless Entry allow you to unlock the doors from either outside door handle, open the trunk, and start the engine, all without removing the key from the pocket or purse. Keyless Start standard on the Daytona SP3 only offers hands-free access for the ignition, none to unlock the car.
While driving with high beams on, sensitive light sensors standard on the Vanquish detect other vehicles which could be blinded and automatically switch to low beams. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer automatic dimming high beams.
Both the Aston Martin Vanquish and Ferrari Daytona SP3 offer exterior mirrors that can be folded to provide convenience. The Vanquish features standard power folding mirrors, which allow for easy, one-touch folding or unfolding at the driver’s discretion. This provides added convenience when maneuvering or parking, as well as when walking past the parked vehicle. In comparison, the Daytona SP3’s foldable mirrors are manual, requiring the driver to get out and physically fold them once parked and unfold them before getting in.
Optional air-conditioned seats in the Vanquish keep the driver and front passenger comfortable and take the sting out of hot seats in Summer. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer air-conditioned seats.
On extremely cold winter days, the Vanquish’s optional heated steering wheel provides comfort, allowing the driver to steer safely and comfortably before the car heater warms up. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer a heated steering wheel.
The Vanquish has a standard center folding armrest for the driver and front passenger. A center armrest helps combat driver fatigue. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer a front seat center armrest.
The Vanquish’s standard dual zone air conditioning allows the driver and front passenger to choose two completely different temperatures so people with different temperature preferences won’t have to compromise. This makes both the driver and front passenger as comfortable as possible. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer dual zone air conditioning.
To keep a safe, consistent following distance, the Vanquish has a standard Adaptive Cruise Control, which alters the speed of the vehicle without driver intervention. This allows the driver to use cruise control more safely without constantly having to disengage it when approaching slower traffic. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer an adaptive cruise control.
To quickly and conveniently keep personal devices charged without cables tangling and wearing out, the Aston Martin Vanquish has a standard wireless phone charging system (Qi) in the front center console. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer wireless personal charging.
