Safety

The QX60 Sensory/Autograph’s pre-crash front seatbelts will tighten automatically in the event the vehicle detects an impending crash, improving protection against injury significantly. The Vistiq doesn’t offer pre-crash pretensioners.

The QX60 Autograph has a standard front seat center airbag, which deploys between the driver and front passenger, protecting them from injuries caused by striking each other in serious side impacts. The Vistiq doesn’t offer front seat center airbags.

Both the QX60 and the Vistiq have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver and front passenger knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, front and rear seatbelt pretensioners, height adjustable front shoulder belts, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, rearview cameras, rear cross-path warning, available all wheel drive, around view monitors and driver alert monitors.

The Infiniti QX60 achieved a “Top Safety Pick” rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) for the 2025 model year. This recognition was based on its impressive performance in the small overlap frontal crash test, updated moderate overlap front crash test, updated side impact crash test, headlight evaluations, and pedestrian crash prevention testing. The Vistiq has not yet been evaluated by the IIHS for 2025.

Warranty

The QX60 comes with a full 4-year/60,000-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire truck and includes 24-hour roadside assistance. The Vistiq’s 4-year/50,000-mile basic warranty expires 10,000 miles sooner.

The QX60’s corrosion warranty is 1 year longer than the Vistiq’s (7 vs. 6 years).

Infiniti pays for scheduled maintenance on the QX60 for 3 years and 45000 miles. Infiniti will pay for oil changes, tire rotations, air filter replacements, cabin filter replacement, brake fluid replacement, inspections, and any other required maintenance. Cadillac only pays for the first scheduled maintenance visit on the Vistiq.

Reliability

J.D. Power and Associates’ 2024 Initial Quality Study of new car owners surveyed provide the statistics that show that Infiniti vehicles are better in initial quality than Cadillac vehicles. J.D. Power ranks Infiniti above average in initial quality. With 27 more problems per 100 vehicles, Cadillac is rated below average.

Brakes and Stopping

For better stopping power the QX60’s standard front brake rotors are larger than those on the Vistiq:

Tires and Wheels

The QX60 has a standard easy tire fill system. When inflating the tires, the vehicle’s integrated tire pressure sensors keep track of the pressure as the tires fill and tell the driver when the tires are inflated to the proper pressure. The Vistiq doesn’t offer vehicle monitored tire inflation.

The QX60 has a standard space-saver spare tire so you can replace a flat tire and drive to have the flat repaired or replaced. A spare tire isn’t available on the Vistiq; it requires you to depend on roadside assistance and your vehicle will have to be towed.

Chassis

The Infiniti QX60 may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 1600 to 1800 pounds less than the Cadillac Vistiq.

The QX60 is 7.4 inches shorter than the Vistiq, making the QX60 easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

Passenger Space

The QX60 has 1.3 inches more front hip room, 4.1 inches more third row hip room and 1.3 inches more third row shoulder room than the Vistiq.

Towing

The QX60’s standard towing capacity is much higher than the Vistiq’s (6000 vs. 5000 pounds).

Optional Trailer Sway Control on the QX60 uses the Vehicle Dynamic Control sensors to detect trailer sway, then uses individual brakes to counteract any swaying and help keep the tow vehicle and trailer steady. The Vistiq doesn’t offer electronic trailer sway control.

Ergonomics

The Vistiq’s cornering lamps activate a lamp on the front corner when the turn signal is activated. The QX60 (except Pure)’s optional adaptive cornering lights turn the actual headlight unit up to several degrees, depending on steering wheel angle and vehicle speed. This lights a significant distance into corners at any speed.

Model Availability

The QX60 is available in both front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations. The Vistiq doesn’t offer a two-wheel drive configuration.
