To provide maximum traction and stability on all roads, Full-Time Four-Wheel Drive is standard on the Vistiq. But it costs extra on the QX60.

A passive infrared night vision system standard on the Vistiq Premium Luxury/Platinum helps the driver to more easily detect people, animals or other objects in front of the vehicle at night. Using an infrared camera to detect heat, the system then displays the image on a monitor in the dashboard. The QX60 doesn’t offer a night vision system.

Both the Vistiq and QX60 have Rear Cross Traffic Alert, but the Vistiq has Rear Cross Traffic Braking (automatically applies the brakes) to better prevent a collision when backing near traffic. The QX60’s Rear Cross Traffic Alert doesn’t automatically brake.

Both the Vistiq and the QX60 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver and front passenger knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, front and rear seatbelt pretensioners, height adjustable front shoulder belts, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, rearview cameras and rear cross-path warning.

The Cadillac Vistiq weighs 1576 to 1810 pounds more than the Infiniti QX60. The NHTSA advises that heavier vehicles are much safer in collisions than their significantly lighter counterparts.

There are almost 3 times as many Cadillac dealers as there are Infiniti dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Vistiq’s warranty.

Power and Associates’ 2024 survey of the owners of three-year-old vehicles provides the long-term dependability statistics that show that Cadillac vehicles are more reliable than Infiniti With 23 fewer problems per 100 vehicles in the first three years of ownership, J.D. Power ranks Cadillac higher than Infiniti.

The Vistiq’s electric motors produces 347 more horsepower (615 vs. 268) and 364 lbs.-ft. more torque (650 vs. 286) than the QX60’s 2.0 turbo 4-cylinder.

On the EPA test cycle the Vistiq gets better mileage than the QX60:

The Vistiq can travel with zero emissions for 300 to 305 miles (dependent on model). The QX60 can’t move without running its internal combustion engine.

Regenerative brakes improve the Vistiq’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The QX60 doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.

In its Green Vehicle Guide, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rates the Cadillac Vistiq higher (10 out of 10) than the Infiniti QX60 (5). This means the Vistiq produces up to 19.8 pounds less smog-producing pollutants than the QX60 every 15,000 miles.

For better stopping power the Vistiq Platinum’s brake rotors are larger than those on the QX60:

For better traction, the Vistiq has larger standard tires than the QX60 (285/45R21 vs. 255/50R20). The Vistiq’s optional tires are larger than the largest tires available on the QX60 (305/35R23 vs. 255/50R20).

The Vistiq’s standard tires provide better handling because they have a lower 45 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the QX60 Pure’s standard 60 series tires. The Vistiq’s optional tires have a lower 35 series profile than the QX60 Luxe/Sensory/Autograph’s 50 series tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Vistiq has standard 21-inch wheels. Smaller 18-inch wheels are standard on the QX60 Pure. The Vistiq’s optional 23-inch wheels are larger than the 20-inch wheels on the QX60 Luxe/Sensory/Autograph.

The Cadillac Vistiq’s wheels have 6 lugs for longer wheel bearing life, less chance of rotor warping and greater strength. The Infiniti QX60 only has 5 wheel lugs per wheel.

Having a flat tire is dangerous, inconvenient and expensive. The self-sealing tires standard on the Vistiq can automatically seal most punctures up to 3/16 of an inch, effectively preventing most flat tires. The QX60 doesn’t offer self-sealing tires.

The Vistiq has a standard driver-adjustable suspension system. It allows the driver to choose between an extra-supple ride, reducing fatigue on long trips, or a sport setting, which allows maximum control for tricky roads or off-road. The QX60’s suspension doesn’t offer adjustable shock absorbers.

The Vistiq has a standard automatic load leveling suspension to keep ride height level with a heavy load or when towing. The QX60 doesn’t offer a load leveling suspension.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the Vistiq’s wheelbase is 7.6 inches longer than on the QX60 (121.8 inches vs. 114.2 inches).

For greater off-road capability the Vistiq has a greater minimum ground clearance than the QX60 (7.2 vs. 6.7 inches), allowing the Vistiq to travel over rougher terrain without being stopped or damaged.

The Vistiq uses computer-generated active noise cancellation to help remove annoying noise and vibration from the passenger compartment, especially at low frequencies. The QX60 doesn’t offer active noise cancellation.

The Vistiq has 5 cubic feet more passenger volume than the QX60 (145.6 vs. 140.6).

The Vistiq has .1 inches more front headroom, 1 inch more front legroom, .4 inches more front shoulder room, 1.5 inches more rear headroom, 2.5 inches more rear legroom, .6 inches more rear hip room, 3.9 inches more third row headroom and 2.6 inches more third row legroom than the QX60.

The Vistiq’s cargo area provides more volume than the QX60.

J.D. Power and Associates surveys of service recipients show that Cadillac service is better than Infiniti. J.D. Power ranks Cadillac fifth in service department satisfaction. With a 1% lower rating, Infiniti is ranked 6th.

The Vistiq’s standard Keyless Access allow you to unlock the doors from any outside door handle, open the cargo door, and start the vehicle, all without removing the key from the pocket or purse. Infiniti Intelligent Key standard on the QX60 doesn’t offer a sensor on the rear doors, so you’ll have to reach a front handle to unlock the rear door.

Homelink® eliminates the need for separate garage door openers and associated risks of losing, breaking, or having dead batteries. Homelink® is only available on the QX60 Luxe/Sensory/Autograph.
