The Spectre comes with a full 4-year/unlimited-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire car and includes 24-hour roadside assistance. The i7’s 4-year/50,000-mile basic warranty expires sooner.

Rolls-Royce pays for scheduled maintenance on the Spectre for 1 year and unlimited miles longer than BMW pays for maintenance for the i7 (4/unlimited vs. 3/36,000).

The Spectre’s electric motors produces 128 more horsepower (577 vs. 449) and 185 lbs.-ft. more torque (664 vs. 479) than the i7 eDrive50’s standard electric motor. The Spectre’s electric motors produces 41 more horsepower (577 vs. 536) and 115 lbs.-ft. more torque (664 vs. 549) than the i7 xDrive60’s standard electric motors.

As tested in Car and Driver the Rolls-Royce Spectre is faster than the i7 xDrive60 electric motors:

On the EPA test cycle the Spectre gets better mileage than the i7 M70 20" Wheels (74 city/82 hwy vs. 74 city/80 hwy MPGe).

The Spectre can travel longer on a full charge than the i7 M70 20" Wheels (277 miles vs. 268 miles).

For better traction, the Spectre has larger standard tires than the i7 (F:255/45R22 & R:285/40R22 vs. 245/50R19).

The Spectre’s standard 255/45R22 front and 285/40R22 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 45 series front and 40 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the i7’s standard 50 series tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Spectre has standard 22-inch wheels. Smaller 19-inch wheels are standard on the i7. The Spectre’s optional 23-inch wheels are larger than the 21-inch wheels optional on the i7.

Heated windshield washer nozzles are standard on the Spectre to prevent washer fluid and nozzles from freezing and help continue to keep the windshield clear in sub-freezing temperatures. The i7 doesn’t offer heated windshield washer nozzles.
