There are almost 2 times as many Mercedes dealers as there are Porsche dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the EQB’s warranty.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires available on the EQB can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The Macan Electric doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

The EQB’s drift compensation steering can automatically compensate for road conditions which would cause the vehicle to drift from side to side, helping the driver to keep the vehicle straight more easily. The Macan Electric doesn’t offer drift compensation steering.

For better maneuverability, the EQB’s turning circle is 1.3 feet tighter than the Macan Electric’s (38.4 feet vs. 39.7 feet).

The Mercedes EQB may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 350 to 550 pounds less than the Porsche Macan Electric.

The EQB is 3.9 inches shorter than the Macan Electric, making the EQB easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

The EQB offers optional seating for 7 passengers; the Macan Electric can only carry 5.

For enhanced passenger comfort on long trips the EQB’s middle row seats recline. The Macan Electric’s rear seats don’t recline.

The EQB’s cargo area provides more volume than the Macan Electric.

To make loading groceries and cargo easier when your hands are full, the EQB’s liftgate can be opened and closed just by kicking your foot under the back bumper, leaving your hands completely free. The Macan Electric doesn’t offer a hands-free gesture to open its liftgate, forcing you to put cargo down if your hands are full.

The EQB has a standard remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The climate system will also automatically heat or cool the interior. The Macan Electric doesn’t offer a remote starting system.

The EQB’s standard easy entry and exit feature glides the driver’s seat back, making it easier for the driver to get in and out. An easy entry system costs extra on the Macan Electric.

The EQB’s power window, power lock, power mirror and cruise control switches are lit from behind, making them plainly visible and easier to operate at night. The Macan Electric’s cruise control switches are unlit, making them difficult to find at night and operate safely.

To improve rear visibility by keeping the rear window clear, the EQB has a standard rear wiper. A rear wiper costs extra on the Macan Electric.
