2025 Maserati MC20
2025 Lamborghini Temerario

Safety

To help make backing out of a parking space safer, the MC20 has standard Rear Cross Path, helping the driver avoid collisions. Lamborghini charges extra for Rear Cross Traffic Alert on the Temerario.

Both the MC20 and the Temerario have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights, rearview cameras, available crash mitigating brakes and around view monitors.

Warranty

The MC20 comes with a full 4-year/50,000-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire car and includes free 24-hour roadside assistance. The Temerario’s 3-year basic warranty expires 1 year sooner.

There are almost 3 times as many Maserati dealers as there are Lamborghini dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the MC20’s warranty.

Reliability

The Temerario’s redline is at 10,000 RPM, which causes more engine wear, and a greater chance of a catastrophic engine failure. The MC20 has a 8000 RPM redline.

Fuel Economy and Range

The MC20 has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The Temerario doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

Suspension and Handling

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the MC20’s wheelbase is 1.7 inches longer than on the Temerario (106.3 inches vs. 104.6 inches).

Chassis

The Maserati MC20 may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 100 to 450 pounds less than the Lamborghini Temerario.

The MC20’s standard power retractable hardtop allows a seamless transition from an open car, to a completely sealed coupe. The Temerario doesn’t offer a retractable hardtop.

Ergonomics

The MC20 has a standard remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The climate system will also automatically heat or cool the interior. The Temerario doesn’t offer a remote starting system.

The Maserati MC20 has power folding mirrors that offer unparalleled convenience while maneuvering in tight places or parked. With the mirrors folded it’s easier to walk past and help prevent parking damage. The mirrors can be quickly unfolded when the driver is ready to leave. Power folding mirrors are not standard on all versions of the Temerario.

To quickly and conveniently keep personal devices charged without cables tangling and wearing out, the Maserati MC20 has a standard wireless phone charging system (Qi) in the front center console. The Temerario doesn’t offer wireless personal charging.

Model Availability

The Maserati MC20 comes in coupe and convertible bodystyles; the Lamborghini Temerario isn’t available as a convertible.
