Compare the2025 Maserati MC20VS 2025 Aston Martin Vantage

The MC20 has standard SOS and Assist Call, which uses a global positioning satellite (GPS) receiver and a cellular system to help track down your vehicle if it’s stolen or send emergency personnel to the scene if any airbags deploy. The Vantage doesn’t offer a GPS response system, only a navigation computer with no live response for emergencies, so if you’re involved in an accident and you’re incapacitated help may not come as quickly.

Both the MC20 and the Vantage have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights, blind spot warning systems, rearview cameras, rear cross-path warning, available crash mitigating brakes and around view monitors.

The MC20 comes with a full 4-year/50,000-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire car and includes free 24-hour roadside assistance. The Vantage’s 3-year basic warranty expires 1 year sooner.

There are over 3 times as many Maserati dealers as there are Aston Martin dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the MC20’s warranty.

On the EPA test cycle the MC20 3.0 turbo V6 gets better fuel mileage than the Vantage (15 city/25 hwy vs. 15 city/22 hwy).

The MC20 has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The Vantage doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

The MC20 offers a standard sequential manual gearbox (SMG). With no clutch pedal to worry about and a fully automatic mode, an SMG is much more efficient than a conventional automatic but just as easy to drive. The Vantage doesn’t offer an SMG or a conventional manual transmission.

The Maserati MC20 may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 150 to 500 pounds less than the Aston Martin Vantage.

The MC20’s standard power retractable hardtop allows a seamless transition from an open car, to a completely sealed coupe. The Vantage doesn’t offer a retractable hardtop.

The MC20 has a standard remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The climate system will also automatically heat or cool the interior. The Vantage doesn’t offer a remote starting system.

The MC20’s front power windows open or close with one touch of the switches, making it more convenient at drive-up windows and toll booths, or when talking with someone outside of the car. The Vantage’s power windows’ switches have to be held the entire time to close them fully.

The MC20’s standard rear view mirror and optional side view mirrors have an automatic dimming feature. These mirrors can be set to automatically darken quickly when headlights shine on them, keeping following vehicles from blinding or distracting the driver. The Vantage has an automatic rear view mirror, but its side mirrors don’t dim.

The Maserati MC20 has a standard Homelink wireless remote control system for garage door operation and device management, conveniently located on the rear view mirror. Homelink® eliminates the need for separate garage door openers and associated risks of losing, breaking, or having dead batteries. Aston Martin charges extra for Homelink® on the Vantage.

The Maserati MC20 comes in coupe and convertible bodystyles; the Aston Martin Vantage isn’t available as a convertible.
