Power and Associates’ 2024 survey of the owners of three-year-old vehicles provides the long-term dependability statistics that show that Dodge vehicles are more reliable than Mercedes With 28 fewer problems per 100 vehicles in the first three years of ownership, J.D. Power ranks Dodge higher than Mercedes.

From surveys of all its subscribers, Consumer Reports’ January 2024 Auto Issue reports that Dodge vehicles are more reliable than Mercedes vehicles. Consumer Reports ranks Dodge 8 places higher in reliability than Mercedes.

The Charger Daytona Scat Pack Coupe’s standard electric motors produces 66 more horsepower (670 vs. 604) and 74 lbs.-ft. more torque (627 vs. 553) than the AMG E 53 HYBRID Sedan’s optional 3.0 turbo 6-cylinder hybrid.

On the EPA test cycle the Charger gets better mileage than the AMG E-Class Sedan running on electricity:

The Charger can travel with zero emissions on a full charge for 216 to 308 miles, up to 10% further than the AMG E 53 HYBRID Sedan‘s -mile range on a full charge and a full tank of fuel. The AMG E 53 HYBRID Sedan has to start its internal combustion engine after only 42 miles.
