For enhanced safety, the front seat shoulder belts of the Cadillac Celestiq are height-adjustable to accommodate a wide variety of driver and passenger heights. A better fit can prevent injuries and the increased comfort also encourages passengers to buckle up. The Rolls-Royce Phantom doesn’t offer height-adjustable seat belts.

In the past twenty years hundreds of infants and young children have died after being left in vehicles, usually by accident. The Celestiq’s corrosion warranty is 2 years longer than the Phantom’s (6 vs. 4 years).

There are almost 15 times as many Cadillac dealers as there are Rolls-Royce dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Celestiq’s warranty.

The Celestiq’s electric motors produces 37 more horsepower (600 vs. 563) than the Phantom’s 6.8 turbo V12.

The Celestiq can travel with zero emissions for 300 miles. The Phantom can’t move without running its internal combustion engine.

In its Green Vehicle Guide, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rates the Cadillac Celestiq higher (10 out of 10) than the Rolls-Royce Phantom (3). This means the Celestiq produces up to 36.3 pounds less smog-producing pollutants than the Phantom every 15,000 miles.

For better traction, the Celestiq has larger tires than the Phantom (285/35R23 vs. 255/50R21). The Celestiq’s optional tires are larger than the largest tires available on the Phantom (285/35R23 vs. 255/45R22).

The Celestiq’s standard tires provide better handling because they have a lower 40 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Phantom’s standard 50 series tires. The Celestiq’s standard oscillating air vents move back and forth and distribute air evenly inside the vehicle, making everyone more comfortable. The Phantom doesn’t offer oscillating vents.

The Celestiq’s automated parking system can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, starting, stopping and changing direction automatically. Remote Auto Parking will park and retrieve your car remotely: press a button and watch it park itself. This is ideal for tight locations. The Phantom doesn’t offer an automated parking system.
