Safety
Warranty
Ferrari pays for scheduled maintenance on the Daytona SP3 for 2 years and unlimited miles longer than Lamborghini pays for maintenance for the Temerario (7/unlimited vs. 5/75000).
Fuel Economy and Range
The Daytona SP3 has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The Temerario doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.
Tires and Wheels
For better traction, the Daytona SP3 has larger tires than the Temerario (F:265/30R20 & R:345/30R21 vs. F:255/35R20 & R:325/30R21).
The Daytona SP3’s tires provide better handling because they have a lower 30 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Temerario’s standard 35 series front tires.
Chassis
The Ferrari Daytona SP3 may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 300 pounds less than the Lamborghini Temerario.
The Daytona SP3’s standard power retractable hardtop allows a seamless transition from an open car, to a completely sealed coupe. The Temerario doesn’t offer a retractable hardtop.
