The TX’s standard front and rear disc brakes are vented to help dissipate heat for shorter stops with less fading. The rear discs on the EX90 are solid, not vented.
Tires and Wheels
The TX has a standard space-saver spare tire so you can replace a flat tire and drive to have the flat repaired or replaced. A spare tire isn’t available on the EX90; it requires you to depend on roadside assistance and your vehicle will have to be towed.

Ergonomics
The TX’s power mirror controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The EX90’s power mirror controls are embedded in the infotainment system, seriously distracting drivers who have to adjust them while driving.
The Lexus TX has power folding mirrors that offer unparalleled convenience while maneuvering in tight places or parked. With the mirrors folded it’s easier to walk past and help prevent parking damage. The mirrors can be quickly unfolded when the driver is ready to leave. Power folding mirrors are not standard on all versions of the EX90.
The TX Premium/Luxury/F Sport has standard front air conditioned seats and the TX offers them optionally in the second row. This keeps the passengers comfortable and takes the sting out of hot seats in summer. The EX90 doesn’t offer air-conditioned seats for the second row.
The TX 500h/550h+ offers an optional 115-volt a/c outlet in the cargo area, allowing you to recharge a laptop or run small household appliances without special adapters that can break or get misplaced. The EX90 doesn’t offer a house-current electrical outlet.
The TX Premium/Luxury/F Sport’s optional Advanced Park can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, starting, stopping and changing direction automatically. Remote Park will park and retrieve your car remotely: press a button and watch it park itself. This is ideal for tight locations. The EX90’s automatic parking system does not offer parking by remote control.
