An active infrared night vision system optional on the Urus helps the driver to more easily detect people, animals or other objects in front of the vehicle at night. Using an infrared camera and near-infrared lights to detect heat, the system then displays the image on a monitor in the dashboard. The Purosangue doesn’t offer a night vision system.

Both the Urus and Purosangue have rear cross-traffic warning, but the Urus has Automatic Brake Activation (automatically applies the brakes) to better prevent a collision when backing near traffic. The Purosangue’s Rear Cross Traffic Alert doesn’t automatically brake.

The Urus SE can travel with zero emissions for 37 miles. The Purosangue can’t move without running its internal combustion engine.

Regenerative brakes improve the Urus SE’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The Purosangue doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Urus offers optional 23-inch wheels. The Purosangue’s largest wheels are only 22-inches in the front and 23-inches in the rear.

The front and rear suspension of the Urus uses air springs for a smoother, controlled ride than the Purosangue, which uses coil springs. Air springs maintain proper ride height and ride more smoothly.

The Urus offers optional seating for 5 passengers; the Purosangue can only carry 4.

The Urus has 8 cubic feet more passenger volume than the Purosangue (105 vs. 97).

The Urus has a much larger cargo volume with its rear seat up than the Purosangue (21.8 vs. 16.7 cubic feet).

To make loading groceries and cargo easier when your hands are full, the Urus’ available liftgate can be opened just by kicking your foot under the back bumper, leaving your hands completely free. The Purosangue doesn’t offer a hands-free gesture to open its liftgate, forcing you to put cargo down if your hands are full.

The Urus’ standard power window controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The Purosangue’s available power window controls are spread out on the center console where they can’t be seen without the driver completely removing his eyes from the road.

The Urus’ optional Park Assist can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, starting, stopping and changing direction automatically. Remote Park Assist will park and retrieve your car remotely: press a button and watch it park itself. This is ideal for tight locations. The Purosangue doesn’t offer an automated parking system.
