The Lamborghini Temerario has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags helps prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The DB12 doesn’t offer knee airbags.

The Temerario has all-wheel drive to maximize traction under poor conditions, especially in ice and snow. The DB12 doesn’t offer all-wheel drive.

Both the Temerario and DB12 offer rear cross-traffic warning, but the Temerario with Rear Cross Traffic Alert also has Rear Cross Traffic Alert (automatically applies the brakes) to better prevent a collision when backing near traffic. The DB12’s Rear Cross Traffic Assist doesn’t automatically brake.

Both the Temerario and the DB12 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, rearview cameras, available crash mitigating brakes, blind spot warning systems and around view monitors.

The Temerario’s corrosion warranty is 2 years longer than the DB12’s (12 vs. 10 years).

Lamborghini pays for scheduled maintenance on the Temerario for 5 years and 75000 miles. Lamborghini will pay for oil changes, air filter replacements, cabin filter replacement, brake fluid replacement, inspections, and any other required maintenance (up to 5 visits). Aston Martin doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the DB12.

The Temerario’s 4.0 turbo V8 hybrid produces 237 more horsepower (907 vs. 670) and 77 lbs.-ft. more torque (590 vs. 513) than the DB12’s 4.0 turbo V8.

Regenerative brakes improve the Temerario’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The DB12 doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.

The Temerario offers a standard sequential manual gearbox (SMG). With no clutch pedal to worry about and a fully automatic mode, an SMG is much more efficient than a conventional automatic but just as easy to drive. The DB12 doesn’t offer an SMG or a conventional manual transmission.

All wheel drive, available in the Temerario, provides the best traction for acceleration in wet, dry, and icy conditions. In corners, all wheel drive allows both outside wheels to provide power, balancing the car. This allows for better handling. The Aston Martin DB12 is not available with all wheel drive.

The Temerario has standard heat-treated ceramic brake rotors, which last ten to twenty times as long as conventional cast iron rotors, don’t rust, don’t fade during repeated high speed braking, and their lighter weight contribute to better braking, handling and acceleration. The DB12 doesn’t offer ceramic brake rotors.

For better traction and acceleration, the Temerario has larger rear tires than the DB12 (325/30R21 vs. 305/30R21).

For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the Temerario is 2.2 inches wider in the front and .9 inches wider in the rear than on the DB12.

The Lamborghini Temerario may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 300 to 550 pounds less than the Aston Martin DB12.

A standard locking glovebox keeps your small valuables safer in the Temerario. The DB12 doesn’t offer locking storage for small valuables.

The Temerario’s instruments include an oil pressure gauge and a temperature gauge - which could save your engine! Often ‘idiot lights’ don’t warn you until damage has been done. The DB12 does not have an oil pressure gauge.
