The Lamborghini Revuelto has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags helps prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The F8 doesn’t offer knee airbags.

The Revuelto offers optional Autonomous Emergency Brake, which use forward mounted sensors to warn the driver of a possible collision ahead. If the driver doesn’t react and the system determines a collision is imminent, it automatically applies the brakes at full-force in order to reduce the force of the crash or avoid it altogether. The F8 doesn't offer collision warning or crash mitigation brakes.

The Revuelto Ultimae has all-wheel drive to maximize traction under poor conditions, especially in ice and snow. The F8 doesn’t offer all-wheel drive.

The Revuelto’s lane departure warning system alerts a temporarily inattentive driver when the vehicle begins to leave its lane and gently nudges the vehicle back towards its lane. The F8 doesn’t offer a lane departure warning system.

The Revuelto offers an optional 360 degree parking monitor to allow the driver to see objects all around the vehicle on a screen. The F8 only offers a rear monitor and front and rear parking sensors that beep or flash a light. That doesn’t help with obstacles to the sides.

The Revuelto’s optional blind spot warning system uses sensors to alert the driver to objects in the vehicle’s blind spots where the side view mirrors don’t reveal them. The F8 doesn’t offer a system to reveal objects in the driver’s blind spots.

To help make backing out of a parking space safer, the Revuelto’s optional Rear Cross Traffic Alert uses sensors in the rear to alert the driver to vehicles approaching from the side and automatically engage the brakes. The F8 doesn’t offer a rear cross-path warning system.

The Revuelto has standard GPS Response System, which uses a global positioning satellite (GPS) receiver and a cellular system to remotely unlock your doors if you lock your keys in or send emergency personnel to the scene if any airbags deploy. The F8 doesn’t offer a GPS response system, only a navigation computer with no live response for emergencies, so if you’re involved in an accident and you’re incapacitated help may not come as quickly.

Both the Revuelto and the F8 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding and daytime running lights.

The Lamborghini Revuelto weighs 699 to 743 pounds more than the Ferrari F8. The NHTSA advises that heavier cars are much safer in collisions than their significantly lighter counterparts.

The Revuelto’s 6.5 DOHC V12 hybrid produces 290 more horsepower (1001 vs. 711) and 172 lbs.-ft. more torque (739 vs. 567) than the F8’s 3.9 turbo V8.

The Revuelto Ultimae can travel with zero emissions for 5 miles. The F8 can’t move without running its internal combustion engine.

Regenerative brakes improve the Revuelto’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The F8 doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.

An eight-speed automatic (SMG) is standard on the Lamborghini Revuelto, for better acceleration and lower engine speed on the highway. Only a seven-speed automatic is available for the F8.

All wheel drive, available in the Revuelto, provides the best traction for acceleration in wet, dry, and icy conditions. In corners, all wheel drive allows both outside wheels to provide power, balancing the car. This allows for better handling. The Ferrari F8 is not available with all wheel drive.

For better stopping power the Revuelto’s brake rotors are larger than those on the F8:

For better traction, the Revuelto has larger standard tires than the F8 (F:265/35R20 & R:345/30R21 vs. F:245/35R20 & R:305/30R20). The Revuelto’s optional tires are larger than the largest tires available on the F8 (F:265/30R21 & R:355/25R22 vs. F:245/35R20 & R:305/30R20).

The Revuelto’s optional 265/30R21 front and 355/25R22 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 30 series front and 25 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the F8’s 35 series front and 30 series rear tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Revuelto has standard 21-inch rear wheels. Only 20-inch wheels are available on the F8. The Revuelto offers optional 21-inch front and 22-inch rear wheels.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires available on the Revuelto can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The F8 doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

The Revuelto offers an available adjustable active suspension system, which counteracts cornering forces actively, limiting body roll and improving handling and stability. Ferrari doesn’t offer an active suspension on the F8.

The Revuelto has a standard automatic front and rear load leveling suspension to keep ride height level with a heavy load or when towing. The Revuelto’s height leveling suspension allows the driver to raise ride height for better off-road clearance and then lower it again for easier entering and exiting and better on-road handling. The F8 doesn’t offer a load leveling suspension.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the Revuelto’s wheelbase is 5.1 inches longer than on the F8 (109.4 inches vs. 104.3 inches).

For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the Revuelto is 1.7 inches wider in the front and 2.2 inches wider in the rear than on the F8.

The Revuelto’s front to rear weight distribution is more even (44% to 56%) than the F8’s (41.5% to 58.5%). This gives the Revuelto more stable handling and braking.

The Revuelto’s entire steering wheel hub sounds the horn, facilitating hitting the horn in an emergency. The F8 has two small spoke buttons. These buttons can be hard to find and reach in an emergency.

The Revuelto’s front power windows open or close with one touch of the switches, making it more convenient at drive-up windows and toll booths, or when talking with someone outside of the car. The F8’s front passenger window doesn’t close automatically.

The Revuelto’s standard power window controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The F8’s available power window controls are spread out on the center console where they can’t be seen without the driver completely removing his eyes from the road.

While driving with high beams on, sensitive light sensors available for the Revuelto detect other vehicles which could be blinded and automatically switch to low beams. The F8 doesn’t offer automatic dimming high beams.

The Revuelto offers optional heated front seats, which keep the driver and front passenger extremely comfortable in the winter. Heated seats aren’t available in the F8.

To keep a safe, consistent following distance, the Revuelto offers an optional Adaptive Cruise Control, which alters the speed of the vehicle without driver intervention. This allows the driver to use cruise control more safely without constantly having to disengage it when approaching slower traffic. The F8 doesn’t offer an adaptive cruise control.
