The Lamborghini Revuelto has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags helps prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The 812 doesn’t offer knee airbags.

The Revuelto offers optional Autonomous Emergency Brake, which use forward mounted sensors to warn the driver of a possible collision ahead. If the driver doesn’t react and the system determines a collision is imminent, it automatically applies the brakes at full-force in order to reduce the force of the crash or avoid it altogether. The 812 doesn't offer collision warning or crash mitigation brakes.

The Revuelto Ultimae has all-wheel drive to maximize traction under poor conditions, especially in ice and snow. The 812 doesn’t offer all-wheel drive.

The Revuelto’s lane departure warning system alerts a temporarily inattentive driver when the vehicle begins to leave its lane and gently nudges the vehicle back towards its lane. The 812 doesn’t offer a lane departure warning system.

The Revuelto offers an optional 360 degree parking monitor to allow the driver to see objects all around the vehicle on a screen. The 812 only offers a rear monitor and front and rear parking sensors that beep or flash a light. That doesn’t help with obstacles to the sides.

To help make backing out of a parking space safer, the Revuelto’s optional Rear Cross Traffic Alert uses sensors in the rear to alert the driver to vehicles approaching from the side and automatically engage the brakes. The 812 doesn’t offer a rear cross-path warning system.

The Revuelto has standard GPS Response System, which uses a global positioning satellite (GPS) receiver and a cellular system to remotely unlock your doors if you lock your keys in or send emergency personnel to the scene if any airbags deploy. The 812 doesn’t offer a GPS response system, only a navigation computer with no live response for emergencies, so if you’re involved in an accident and you’re incapacitated help may not come as quickly.

Both the Revuelto and the 812 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights and available blind spot warning systems.

The Revuelto’s corrosion warranty is 9 years longer than the 812’s (12 vs. 3 years).

The Revuelto’s 6.5 DOHC V12 hybrid produces 212 more horsepower (1001 vs. 789) and 209 lbs.-ft. more torque (739 vs. 530) than the 812’s 6.5 DOHC V12.

All wheel drive, available in the Revuelto, provides the best traction for acceleration in wet, dry, and icy conditions. In corners, all wheel drive allows both outside wheels to provide power, balancing the car. This allows for better handling. The Ferrari 812 is not available with all wheel drive.

For better traction and acceleration, the Revuelto has larger standard rear tires than the 812 (345/30R21 vs. 315/35R20). The Revuelto’s optional rear tires are larger than the largest rear tires available on the 812 (355/25R22 vs. 315/35R20).

The Revuelto’s standard 345/30R21 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 30 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the 812’s standard 35 series tires. The Revuelto’s optional 265/30R21 front and 355/25R22 rear tires have a lower 30 series front and 25 series rear profile than the 812’s 35 series tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Revuelto has standard 21-inch rear wheels. Only 20-inch wheels are available on the 812. The Revuelto offers optional 21-inch front and 22-inch rear wheels.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires available on the Revuelto can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The 812 doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

The Revuelto offers an available adjustable active suspension system, which counteracts cornering forces actively, limiting body roll and improving handling and stability. Ferrari doesn’t offer an active suspension on the 812.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the Revuelto’s wheelbase is 2.3 inches longer than on the 812 (109.4 inches vs. 107.1 inches).

While driving with high beams on, sensitive light sensors available for the Revuelto detect other vehicles which could be blinded and automatically switch to low beams. The 812 doesn’t offer automatic dimming high beams.

Both the Lamborghini Revuelto and Ferrari 812 offer exterior mirrors that can be folded to provide convenience. The Revuelto features standard power folding mirrors, which allow for easy, one-touch folding or unfolding at the driver’s discretion. This provides added convenience when maneuvering or parking, as well as when walking past the parked vehicle. In comparison, the 812’s foldable mirrors are manual, requiring the driver to get out and physically fold them once parked and unfold them before getting in.

To keep a safe, consistent following distance, the Revuelto offers an optional Adaptive Cruise Control, which alters the speed of the vehicle without driver intervention. This allows the driver to use cruise control more safely without constantly having to disengage it when approaching slower traffic. The 812 doesn’t offer an adaptive cruise control.

The Revuelto’s standard separate stalk mounted cruise control on/off switch is conveniently located with the rest of the cruise controls. The 812’s standard cruise control must be turned on with a hard to find switch on the dashboard.
