The EX30 has a standard front seat center airbag, which deploys between the driver and front passenger, protecting them from injuries caused by striking each other in serious side impacts. The Prologue doesn’t offer front seat center airbags.

The EX30’s corrosion warranty is 7 years longer than the Prologue’s (12 vs. 5 years).

Volvo pays for scheduled maintenance on the EX30 for 1 year and 6000 miles longer than Honda pays for maintenance for the Prologue (3/30,000 vs. 2/24,000).

The EX30’s standard electric motor produces 56 more horsepower (268 vs. 212) and 17 lbs.-ft. more torque (253 vs. 236) than the Prologue’s standard electric motor. The EX30’s standard electric motors produces 134 more horsepower (422 vs. 288) and 67 lbs.-ft. more torque (400 vs. 333) than the Prologue’s optional electric motors.

Regenerative brakes improve the EX30’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The Prologue doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.

The EX30 Ultra’s Park Pilot Assist can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, starting, stopping and changing direction automatically. The Prologue doesn’t offer an automated parking system.
