The Audi Q3 has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags helps prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The GV80 Coupe doesn’t offer a front passenger side knee airbag.

Both the Q3 and the GV80 Coupe have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, height adjustable front shoulder belts, four-wheel antilock brakes, all wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, post-collision automatic braking systems, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, rearview cameras, rear cross-path warning and available around view monitors.

The Q3’s corrosion warranty is 5 years longer than the GV80 Coupe’s (12 vs. 7 years).

There are over 26 percent more Audi dealers than there are Genesis dealers, which makes it easier should you ever need service under the Q3’s warranty.

The Audi Q3’s engines use a cast iron block for durability, while the GV80 Coupe’s engines use an aluminum block. Aluminum engine blocks are much more prone to warp and crack at high temperatures than cast iron.

J.D. Power and Associates rated the Q3 second among small premium suvs in their 2024 Initial Quality Study. The GV80 Coupe isn’t in the top three in its category.

The Q3 handles at .91 G’s, while the GV80 3.5 e-Supercharger pulls only .81 G’s of cornering force in a Car and Driver skidpad test.

For better maneuverability, the Q3’s turning circle is .6 feet tighter than the GV80 Coupe’s (38.7 feet vs. 39.3 feet).

The Audi Q3 may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 1250 pounds less than the Genesis GV80 Coupe.

The Q3 is 1 foot, 6.9 inches shorter than the GV80 Coupe, making the Q3 easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

A low lift-over cargo hatch design makes loading and unloading the Q3 easier. The Q3’s cargo hatch lift-over height is 27.8 inches, while the GV80 Coupe’s liftover is 31.6 inches.

If the windows are left open on the Q3 the driver can close them all at the outside door handle or from a distance using the remote. On a hot day the driver can lower the windows from a distance using the keyless remote. The driver of the GV80 Coupe can’t use the remote to operate the windows.

Heated windshield washer nozzles are standard on the Q3 to prevent washer fluid and nozzles from freezing and help continue to keep the windshield clear in sub-freezing temperatures. The GV80 Coupe doesn’t offer heated windshield washer nozzles.

To improve rear visibility by keeping the rear window clear, the Q3 has a standard rear wiper. The GV80 Coupe doesn’t offer a rear wiper.
