For enhanced safety, the front seat shoulder belts of the Jeep Gladiator are height-adjustable to accommodate a wide variety of driver and passenger heights. A better fit can prevent injuries and the increased comfort also encourages passengers to buckle up. The INEOS Grenadier Quartermaster doesn’t offer height-adjustable seat belts.

The Gladiator’s optional blind spot warning system uses sensors to alert the driver to objects in the vehicle’s blind spots where the side view mirrors don’t reveal them. The Grenadier Quartermaster doesn’t offer a system to reveal objects in the driver’s blind spots.

Jeep pays for scheduled maintenance on the Gladiator for 2 years and unlimited miles. Jeep will pay for oil changes, tire rotations, air filter replacements, brake fluid replacement, inspections, and any other required maintenance (up to 2 visits). INEOS doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the Grenadier Quartermaster.

There are over 120 times as many Jeep dealers as there are INEOS dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Gladiator’s warranty.

On the EPA test cycle the Gladiator gets better fuel mileage than the Grenadier Quartermaster (17 city/22 hwy vs. 14 city/14 hwy).

To lower fuel costs and make buying fuel easier, the Jeep Gladiator uses regular unleaded gasoline. The Grenadier Quartermaster requires premium, which can cost on average about 84.9 cents more per gallon.

For better traction, the Gladiator Rubicon/Mojave’s tires are larger than the largest tires available on the Grenadier Quartermaster (285/70R17 vs. 265/70R17).

The Gladiator Nighthawk’s tires provide better handling because they have a lower 55 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Grenadier Quartermaster’s 70 series tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Gladiator Nighthawk has standard 20-inch wheels. The Grenadier Quartermaster’s largest wheels are only 18-inches.

The Gladiator has a standard easy tire fill system. When inflating the tires, the vehicle’s integrated tire pressure sensors keep track of the pressure as the tires fill and tell the driver when the tires are inflated to the proper pressure. The Gladiator Rubicon has an active front sway bar, which helps keep it flat and controlled during cornering, but disconnects at lower speeds to smooth the ride and offer greater off-road suspension articulation. This helps keep the tires glued to the road on-road and off. The Grenadier Quartermaster doesn’t offer an active sway bar system.

A maintenance reminder system is standard on the Gladiator to save the owner time and money by calculating maintenance intervals for oil changes, based on actual driving conditions. The Gladiator offers a remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The climate system will also automatically heat or cool the interior. The Grenadier Quartermaster doesn’t offer a remote starting system.

The engine computer on the Gladiator automatically engages the starter until the car starts with one twist of the key and disables the starter while the engine is running. The Grenadier Quartermaster’s starter can be accidentally engaged while the engine is running, making a grinding noise and possibly damaging the starter and ring gear.

The Gladiator’s instruments include an oil pressure gauge and a temperature gauge - which could save your engine! Often ‘idiot lights’ don’t warn you until damage has been done. The Grenadier Quartermaster does not have an oil pressure gauge.

The Gladiator’s standard power windows have a locking feature to keep children in the rear seat from operating them, but the driver can still raise and lower all of them with the lock engaged. INEOS does not offer a locking feature on the Grenadier Quartermaster’s standard power windows.

The Push Button Start standard on the Gladiator allows you to start the engine without removing the key from the pocket or purse. The INEOS Grenadier Quartermaster doesn’t offer an advanced key system. The Gladiator’s optional Passive Entry also allows you to unlock the doors from either front outside door handle.

The Gladiator’s speed-sensitive wipers speed up when the vehicle does, so that the driver doesn’t have to continually adjust the speed of the wipers. The Grenadier Quartermaster’s manually variable intermittent wipers have to be constantly adjusted.

While driving with high beams on, sensitive light sensors available for the Gladiator detect other vehicles which could be blinded and automatically switch to low beams. The Grenadier Quartermaster doesn’t offer automatic dimming high beams.

The Gladiator’s optional rear view mirror has an automatic dimming feature. This mirror can be set to automatically darken quickly when headlights shine on it, keeping following vehicles from blinding or distracting the driver. The Grenadier Quartermaster doesn’t offer the luxury of an automatic dimming rear view mirror.

On extremely cold winter days, the Gladiator’s optional heated steering wheel provides comfort, allowing the driver to steer safely and comfortably before the vehicle heater warms up. The Grenadier Quartermaster doesn’t offer a heated steering wheel.

The Gladiator offers an optional center folding armrest for the rear passengers. A center armrest helps make rear passengers more comfortable and it can provide a boundary between children. The Grenadier Quartermaster doesn’t offer a rear seat center armrest.

The Gladiator’s optional dual zone air conditioning allows the driver and front passenger to choose two completely different temperatures so people with different temperature preferences won’t have to compromise. This makes both the driver and front passenger as comfortable as possible. The Grenadier Quartermaster doesn’t offer dual zone air conditioning.

To keep a safe, consistent following distance, the Gladiator offers an optional Adaptive Speed Control, which alters the speed of the vehicle without driver intervention. This allows the driver to use cruise control more safely without constantly having to disengage it when approaching slower traffic.
