Warranty
The QX50 comes with a full 4-year/60,000-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire truck and includes 24-hour roadside assistance. The Nautilus’ 4-year/50,000-mile basic warranty expires 10,000 miles sooner.
The QX50’s corrosion warranty is 2 years longer than the Nautilus’ (7 vs. 5 years).
Infiniti pays for scheduled maintenance on the QX50 for 3 years and 22500 miles. Infiniti will pay for oil changes, tire rotations, air filter replacements, cabin filter replacement, brake fluid replacement, inspections, and any other required maintenance. Lincoln doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the Nautilus. (Lincoln offers free mainteance on some Nautilus models.)
Reliability
J.D. Power and Associates’ 2024 Initial Quality Study of new car owners surveyed provide the statistics that show that Infiniti vehicles are better in initial quality than Lincoln vehicles. J.D. Power ranks Infiniti above average in initial quality. With 37 more problems per 100 vehicles, Lincoln is rated below average.
J.D. Power and Associates’ 2024 survey of the owners of three-year-old vehicles provides the long-term dependability statistics that show that Infiniti vehicles are more reliable than Lincoln With 32 fewer problems per 100 vehicles in the first three years of ownership, J.D. Power ranks Infiniti higher than Lincoln.
From surveys of all its subscribers, Consumer Reports’ January 2024 Auto Issue reports that Infiniti vehicles are more reliable than Lincoln vehicles. Consumer Reports ranks Infiniti 10 places higher in reliability than Lincoln.
Engine
The QX50’s 2.0 turbo 4-cylinder produces 18 more horsepower (268 vs. 250) than the Nautilus’ standard 2.0 turbo 4-cylinder.

Tires and Wheels
The QX50’s standard tires provide better handling because they have a lower 55 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Nautilus’ standard 60 series tires.
The QX50 has a standard easy tire fill system. When inflating the tires, the vehicle’s integrated tire pressure sensors keep track of the pressure as the tires fill and tell the driver when the tires are inflated to the proper pressure. The Nautilus doesn’t offer vehicle monitored tire inflation.
Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires standard on the QX50 can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The Nautilus doesn’t offer run-flat tires.
Suspension and Handling
The QX50 handles at .84 G’s, while the Nautilus Black Label pulls only .74 G’s of cornering force in a Motor Trend skidpad test.
The QX50 executes Motor Trend’s “Figure Eight” maneuver 2.1 seconds quicker than the Nautilus Black Label (26.7 seconds @ .66 average G’s vs. 28.8 seconds @ .59 average G’s).
For better maneuverability, the QX50’s turning circle is 1.1 feet tighter than the Nautilus’ (36.4 feet vs. 37.5 feet).
For greater off-road capability the QX50 has a greater minimum ground clearance than the Nautilus (8.6 vs. 7.9 inches), allowing the QX50 to travel over rougher terrain without being stopped or damaged.
Chassis
The Infiniti QX50 may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 350 to 600 pounds less than the Lincoln Nautilus.
The QX50 is 8.5 inches shorter than the Nautilus, making the QX50 easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.
Cargo Capacity
A standard locking glovebox (which can’t be accessed with the valet key) keeps your small valuables safer in the QX50. The Nautilus doesn’t offer locking storage for small valuables.
Servicing Ease
J.D. Power and Associates surveys of service recipients show that Infiniti service is better than Lincoln. J.D. Power ranks Infiniti 6th in service department satisfaction (above the industry average). With a 29% lower rating, Lincoln is ranked 19th.
Ergonomics
The QX50’s standard Infiniti Intelligent Key allow you to unlock the doors from any outside door handle, open the cargo door, and start the engine, all without removing the key from the pocket or purse. Intelligent Access standard on the Nautilus doesn’t offer a sensor on the rear doors, so you’ll have to reach a front handle to unlock the rear door.
