Earlier warning of stopped traffic, traffic signals, dangerous road conditions, weather, or accidents, can keep driver's safer and prevent crashes. The ID.BUZZ has Car2X, a system that seamlessly communicates important warnings to the driver about impending danger, if they're available. The Escalade IQ doesn’t offer a system that can receive automated systems

Both the ID.BUZZ and the Escalade IQ have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, height adjustable front shoulder belts, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, rearview cameras, rear cross-path warning and available around view monitors.

Warranty

The ID.BUZZ’s corrosion warranty is 1 year longer than the Escalade IQ’s (7/100,000 vs. 6/100,000).

Volkswagen pays for scheduled maintenance on the ID.BUZZ for 2 years and 20,000 miles. Volkswagen will pay for brake fluid replacement, inspections, and any other required maintenance. Cadillac only pays for the first scheduled maintenance visit on the Escalade IQ.

There are over 14 percent more Volkswagen dealers than there are Cadillac dealers, which makes it easier should you ever need service under the ID.BUZZ’s warranty.

Fuel Economy and Range

The ID.BUZZ has a standard locking charge port which locks and unlocks with the power locks. The Escalade IQ doesn’t have a locking charge port. A locking charge port prevents tampering and damage.

Brakes and Stopping

For better stopping power the ID.BUZZ’s front brake rotors are larger than those on the Escalade IQ:

Tires and Wheels

The ID.BUZZ’s 265/45R20 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 45 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Escalade IQ’s 50 series tires.

Suspension and Handling

For better maneuverability, the ID.BUZZ’s turning circle is 1.9 feet tighter than the Escalade IQ’s (37.4 feet vs. 39.3 feet).

Chassis

The ID.BUZZ is 2 feet, 4.9 inches shorter than the Escalade IQ, making the ID.BUZZ easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

Passenger Space

The ID.BUZZ has 1.1 inches more rear headroom, 4.5 inches more rear hip room, 1.5 inches more third row headroom and 10.1 inches more third row legroom than the Escalade IQ.

Cargo Capacity

The ID.BUZZ’s cargo area provides more volume than the Escalade IQ.

Ergonomics

The ID.BUZZ’s standard sliding doors can be opened with less than three inches side clearance. The Escalade IQ’s standard rear swing-out doors are bulky and make loading in tight spots difficult.

Heated windshield washer nozzles are standard on the ID.BUZZ to prevent washer fluid and nozzles from freezing and help continue to keep the windshield clear in sub-freezing temperatures. The Escalade IQ doesn’t offer heated windshield washer nozzles.
