For better traction and acceleration, the Vantage has larger rear tires than the M4 (325/30R21 vs. 285/35R19).

The Vantage’s 275/35R21 front and 325/30R21 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 35 series front and 30 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the M4’s standard 40 series front and 35 series rear tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Vantage has standard 21-inch wheels. Smaller 18-inch front and 19-inch rear wheels are standard on the M4. The M4’s largest wheels are only 19-inches in the front and 20-inches in the rear.

The Vantage has a standard space-saver spare tire so you can replace a flat tire and drive to have the flat repaired or replaced. A spare tire isn’t available on the M4; it requires you to depend on roadside assistance and your vehicle will have to be towed.

The Vantage is 1 foot shorter than the M4, making the Vantage easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

Unlike the driver-only memory system in the M4, the Vantage has standard driver and passenger memory, so that when drivers switch, the memory setting adjusts the driver’s seat, steering wheel position and outside mirror angle and the front passenger seat also adjusts to the new passenger’s preset preferences.

The Vantage’s standard easy entry system raises the steering wheel and glides the driver’s seat back, making it easier for the driver to get in and out. The M4 doesn’t offer an easy entry system.

In poor weather, headlights can lose their effectiveness as grime builds up on their lenses. This can reduce visibility without the driver realizing. The Vantage has standard headlight washers to keep headlight output high. The M4 doesn’t offer headlight washers.
