Tires and Wheels
For better traction, the DB12 has larger tires than the LC (F:275/35R21 & R:305/30R21 vs. F:245/45R20 & R:275/40R20).
The DB12’s 275/35R21 front and 305/30R21 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 35 series front and 30 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the LC’s standard 45 series front and 40 series rear tires. The DB12’s tires are lower profile than the LC’s optional 40 series front and 35 series rear tires.
For better ride, handling and brake cooling the DB12 has standard 21-inch wheels. Smaller 20-inch wheels are standard on the LC.
Suspension and Handling
For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the DB12 is 1.4 inches wider in the front and .4 inches wider in the rear than on the LC.
Chassis
The Aston Martin DB12 may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 300 to 350 pounds less than the Lexus LC.

The DB12 Coupe has 1.4 inches more front headroom and 3.1 inches more front legroom than the LC.
Cargo Capacity

Ergonomics
Unlike the driver-only memory system in the LC, the DB12 has standard driver and passenger memory, so that when drivers switch, the memory setting adjusts the driver’s seat, steering wheel position and outside mirror angle and the front passenger seat also adjusts to the new passenger’s preset preferences.
In case of a sudden change of weather, the DB12 has a standard remote convertible top that can be raised from a distance to protect the interior of the vehicle from damage. On a hot day the DB12 has a standard remote opening feature, to lower the top from outside. The LC doesn’t offer a remote top, so the driver will have to run to the car, get in, turn the ignition on and raise the top to prevent the interior from being damaged.
The LC’s cornering lamps activate a lamp on the front corner when the turn signal is activated. The DB12’s standard adaptive cornering lights turn the actual headlight unit up to several degrees, depending on steering wheel angle and vehicle speed. This lights a significant distance into corners at any speed.
When the DB12 is put in reverse, the passenger rearview mirror tilts from its original position. This gives the driver a better view of the curb during parallel parking maneuvers. Shifting out of reverse puts the mirror into its original position. The LC’s mirror doesn’t automatically adjust for backing.
To quickly and conveniently keep personal devices charged without cables tangling and wearing out, the Aston Martin DB12 has a standard wireless phone charging system (Qi) in the front center console. The LC doesn’t offer wireless personal charging.
The DB12’s Auto Parking can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, with the driver only controlling speed with the brake pedal. The LC doesn’t offer an automated parking system.
