Both the Escalade IQ and Macan Electric have child safety locks to prevent children from opening the rear doors. The Escalade IQ has power child safety locks, allowing the driver to activate and deactivate them from the driver's seat and to know when they're engaged. The Macan Electric’s child locks have to be individually engaged at each rear door with a manual switch. The driver can’t know the status of the locks without opening the doors and checking them.

In the past twenty years hundreds of infants and young children have died after being left in vehicles, usually by accident. When turning the vehicle off, drivers of the Escalade IQ are reminded to check the back seat if they opened the rear door before starting out. The Macan Electric doesn’t offer a back seat reminder.

Cadillac’s powertrain warranty covers the Escalade IQ 2 years and 20,000 miles longer than Porsche covers the Macan Electric. Any repair needed on the engine, transmission, axles, joints or driveshafts is fully covered for 6 years or 70,000 miles. Coverage on the Macan Electric ends after only 4 years or 50,000 miles.

There are almost 3 times as many Cadillac dealers as there are Porsche dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Escalade IQ’s warranty.

The Escalade IQ’s electric motors produces 348 more horsepower (750 vs. 402) and 306 lbs.-ft. more torque (785 vs. 479) than the Macan 4 Electric’s standard electric motors. The Escalade IQ’s electric motors produces 120 more horsepower (750 vs. 630) than the Macan Electric Turbo’s standard electric motors.

The Escalade IQ can travel with zero emissions for 460 miles. The Macan Electric can’t move without running its internal combustion engine.

The Escalade IQ’s standard front and rear disc brakes are vented to help dissipate heat for shorter stops with less fading. The rear discs standard on the Macan Electric are solid, not vented.

To improve rear visibility by keeping the rear window clear, the Escalade IQ has a standard rear wiper. A rear wiper costs extra on the Macan Electric.
