To lower fuel costs and make buying fuel easier, the Buick Envista uses regular unleaded gasoline. The GV80 Coupe requires premium for maximum efficiency, which can cost on average about 84.9 cents more per gallon.
The Envista has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The GV80 Coupe doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.
Tires and Wheels
The Envista has a standard easy tire fill system. When inflating the tires, the vehicle’s integrated tire pressure sensors keep track of the pressure as the tires fill and tell the driver when the tires are inflated to the proper pressure. The GV80 Coupe doesn’t offer vehicle monitored tire inflation.
The Envista has a standard space-saver spare tire so you can replace a flat tire and drive to have the flat repaired or replaced. A spare tire isn’t available on the GV80 Coupe; it requires you to depend on roadside assistance and your vehicle will have to be towed.
Suspension and Handling

Chassis
The Buick Envista may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 2000 pounds less than the Genesis GV80 Coupe.

The Envista is 6.3 inches narrower than the GV80 Coupe, making the Envista easier to handle and maneuver in traffic.
Towing
The Envista can be flat towed on all four wheels (dinghy towed), allowing recreational vehicle owners to bring it with them on the road. When they reach their destination, the Envista can be unhitched and driven around locally. The GV80 Coupe can’t be towed flat on the ground.
Servicing Ease
J.D. Power and Associates surveys of service recipients show that Buick service is better than Genesis. J.D. Power ranks Buick third in service department satisfaction. With a 75% lower rating, Genesis is ranked 31st.
Ergonomics
The Envista’s instruments include an oil pressure gauge and a temperature gauge - which could save your engine! Often ‘idiot lights’ don’t warn you until damage has been done. The GV80 Coupe does not have an oil pressure gauge.
In case you lock your keys in your vehicle, or don’t have them with you, you can let yourself in using the Envista’s available exterior PIN entry system. The GV80 Coupe doesn’t offer an exterior PIN entry system.
