Ferrari pays for scheduled maintenance on the Daytona SP3 for 7 years and unlimited miles. The Daytona SP3 offers a standard sequential manual gearbox (SMG). With no clutch pedal to worry about and a fully automatic mode, an SMG is much more efficient than a conventional automatic but just as easy to drive. The DBS doesn’t offer an SMG or a conventional manual transmission.

The Daytona SP3’s instruments include an oil pressure gauge and a temperature gauge - which could save your engine! Often ‘idiot lights’ don’t warn you until damage has been done. The DBS does not have an oil pressure gauge.
In poor weather, headlights can lose their effectiveness as grime builds up on their lenses. This can reduce visibility without the driver realizing. The Daytona SP3 has standard headlight washers to keep headlight output high. The DBS doesn’t offer headlight washers.
