The GranCabrio Foglore has standard Rear Emergency Braking that uses rear sensors to monitor for objects to the rear and automatically applies the brakes to prevent a collision. The Continental GT doesn’t offer automatic braking for stationary objects directly to the rear.

The GranCabrio Foglore’s optional driver alert monitor detects an inattentive driver then sounds a warning and suggests a break. According to the NHTSA, drivers who fall asleep cause about 100,000 crashes and 1500 deaths a year. The Continental GT doesn’t offer a driver alert monitor.

Both the GranCabrio Foglore and the Continental GT have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, four-wheel antilock brakes, all wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, rearview cameras, available lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, around view monitors and rear cross-path warning.

The GranCabrio Foglore comes with a full 4-year/50,000-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire car and includes free 24-hour roadside assistance. The Continental GT’s 3-year basic warranty expires 1 year sooner.

The GranCabrio Foglore’s corrosion warranty is 1 year longer than the Continental GT’s (4 vs. 3 years).

There are over 2 times as many Maserati dealers as there are Bentley dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the GranCabrio Foglore’s warranty.

The GranCabrio Foglore’s electric motors produces 209 more horsepower (751 vs. 542) and 428 lbs.-ft. more torque (996 vs. 568) than the Continental GT’s standard 4.0 turbo V8. The GranCabrio Foglore can travel with zero emissions on a full charge for 233 miles. The Continental GT can’t move without running its internal combustion engine.

Regenerative brakes improve the GranCabrio Foglore’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The Continental GT doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.

In its Green Vehicle Guide, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rates the Maserati GranCabrio Foglore higher (10 out of 10) than the Bentley Continental GT (3). This means the GranCabrio Foglore produces up to 36.3 pounds less smog-producing pollutants than the Continental GT every 15,000 miles.

The GranCabrio Foglore’s tires provide better handling because they have a lower 30 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Continental GT’s standard 40 series front and 35 series rear tires. To shield the driver and front passenger’s vision over a larger portion of the windshield and side windows, the GranCabrio Foglore has standard extendable sun visors. The Continental GT only offers a small additional center visor.

Both the GranCabrio Foglore and the Continental GT offer rear vents. For greater rear passenger comfort, the GranCabrio Foglore has standard rear air conditioning vents to keep rear occupants cool in summer or warm in winter. The Continental GT doesn’t offer rear air conditioning vents, only heat vents.
