The Sierra EV has a standard remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The climate system will also automatically heat or cool the interior. The Endurance doesn’t offer a remote starting system.
To help each driver find a more comfortable driving position, the Sierra EV has a power telescoping steering wheel. Much better than just a tilt steering wheel or adjustable seat, this allows a short driver to sit further from the steering wheel while maintaining contact with the pedals. The Endurance doesn’t offer a telescoping steering wheel.
When two different drivers share the Sierra EV, the memory seats and mirrors make it convenient for both. Each setting activates different, customized memories for the driver’s seat position and outside mirror angle. The Endurance doesn’t offer a memory system.
The Sierra EV has a standard heads-up display that projects speed, warning, navigation instruction and driver assistance information readouts in front of the driver’s line of sight, allowing drivers to view information without diverting their eyes from the road. The Endurance doesn’t offer a heads-up display.
The Sierra EV’s front and rear power windows all open fully with one touch of the switches and its front windows also automatically close, making it more convenient at drive-up windows and toll booths, or when talking with someone outside the car. The Endurance’s passenger windows don’t open or close automatically.
The Sierra EV’s standard Keyless Open and Start allow you to unlock the doors from any outside door handle, unlock the tailgate, and start the truck, all without removing the key from the pocket or purse. Push Button Start standard on the Endurance only offers hands-free access for the ignition, none to unlock the truck.
The Sierra EV’s rain-sensitive wipers adjust their speed and turn on and off automatically based on the amount of rainfall on the windshield. This allows the driver to concentrate on driving without constantly adjusting the wipers. The Endurance’s fixed intermittent wipers only have one fixed delay setting, so the driver will have to manually switch them between slow and intermittent.
The Sierra EV’s standard outside mirrors include heating elements to clear off the mirrors for better visibility. The Endurance doesn’t offer heated side mirrors.
The Sierra EV’s standard rear and side view mirrors have an automatic dimming feature. These mirrors can be set to automatically darken quickly when headlights shine on them, keeping following vehicles from blinding or distracting the driver. The Endurance doesn’t offer the luxury of automatic dimming mirrors.
On extremely cold winter days, the Sierra EV’s standard heated steering wheel provides comfort, allowing the driver to steer safely and comfortably before the vehicle heater warms up. The Endurance doesn’t offer a heated steering wheel.
The Sierra EV’s standard dual zone air conditioning allows the driver and front passenger to choose two completely different temperatures so people with different temperature preferences won’t have to compromise. This makes both the driver and front passenger as comfortable as possible. The Endurance doesn’t offer dual zone air conditioning.
The Sierra EV’s standard automatic temperature control maintains the temperature you set, automatically controlling fan speed, vents and temperature to maintain a consistent, comfortable environment. The Endurance doesn’t offer automatic air conditioning.
To keep a safe, consistent following distance, the Sierra EV has a standard Adaptive Cruise Control, which alters the speed of the vehicle without driver intervention. This allows the driver to use cruise control more safely without constantly having to disengage it when approaching slower traffic. The Endurance doesn’t offer an adaptive cruise control.
The Sierra EV’s standard GPS navigation system has a real-time traffic update feature that plots alternative routes to automatically bypass traffic problems. (Service not available in all areas.) The Endurance’s available navigation system doesn’t offer real-time traffic updates.
The Sierra EV’s Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, starting, stopping and changing direction automatically. The Endurance doesn’t offer an automated parking system.
