For better traction, the Nexo Limited’s tires are larger than the largest tires available on the bZ4X (245/45R19 vs. 235/60R18).
The Nexo Limited’s tires provide better handling because they have a lower 45 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the bZ4X Limited’s 50 series tires.
Suspension and Handling
For better maneuverability, the Nexo’s turning circle is 3.3 feet tighter than the bZ4X’s (36.7 feet vs. 40 feet).

Servicing Ease
The Nexo uses gas struts to support the hood for easier service access. The bZ4X uses a prop rod to support its heavy hood. It takes two hands to open the hood and set the prop rod, the prop rod gets in the way during maintenance and service, and the prop rod could be knocked out, causing the heavy hood to fall on the person maintaining or servicing the car.
Ergonomics
The Nexo’s power window, power lock and cruise control switches are lit from behind, making them plainly visible and easier to operate at night. The bZ4X’s power window (except driver window) and power lock switches are unlit, making them difficult to find at night and operate safely.
To improve rear visibility by keeping the rear window clear, the Nexo has a standard rear wiper. The bZ4X doesn’t offer a rear wiper.
The Nexo has a 115-volt a/c outlet on the center console, allowing you to recharge a laptop or run small household appliances without special adapters that can break or get misplaced. The bZ4X doesn’t offer a house-current electrical outlet.
The Nexo Limited’s Smart Parking Assist can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, starting, stopping and changing direction automatically. Remote Smart Parking Assist will park and retrieve your car remotely: press a button and watch it park itself. This is ideal for tight locations. The bZ4X Limited’s automatic parking system does not offer parking by remote control.
