The Quattroporte has standard whiplash protection, which use a specially designed headrest to protect the driver and front passenger from whiplash. During a rear-end collision, the whiplash protection system moves the headrests forward to prevent neck and spine injuries. The AMG GT 4-Door doesn’t offer a whiplash protection system.

The Quattroporte’s standard lane departure warning system alerts a temporarily inattentive driver when the vehicle begins to leave its lane and gently nudges the vehicle back towards its lane. A lane departure warning system costs extra on the AMG GT 4-Door.

The Quattroporte has 2.1 gallons more fuel capacity than the AMG GT 4-Door 63 S E’s standard fuel tank (21.1 vs. 19 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups.

The Quattroporte has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The AMG GT 4-Door doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

The Quattroporte’s 245/35R21 front and 285/30R21 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 35 series front and 30 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the AMG GT 4-Door’s standard 45 series front and 40 series rear tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Quattroporte has standard 21-inch wheels. Smaller 19-inch wheels are standard on the AMG GT 4-Door.

The Quattroporte has a standard space-saver spare tire so you can replace a flat tire and drive to have the flat repaired or replaced. A spare tire isn’t available on the AMG GT 4-Door; it requires you to depend on roadside assistance and your vehicle will have to be towed.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the Quattroporte’s wheelbase is 8.6 inches longer than on the AMG GT 4-Door (124.8 inches vs. 116.2 inches).

A power rear sunshade and rear side window sunshades are standard in the Quattroporte to help block heat and glare for the rear passengers. The AMG GT 4-Door doesn’t offer rear side window sunshades.
